I play with controller as the movement feels odd with the keyboard since I played it on PS4.
For me, it feels better using a contoller. Maybe it's cause mouse controls in game doesn't have acceleration, or maybe it's cause I'm biased by playing Dark Souls on PS3 for a couple thousand hours?
For sure though, I had to recalibrate my controller in steam big picture mode as the dead-zones were way too high by default.
My post wasnt about controls though? it was about fixing graphical stuttering.
Yeah its something so simple that I thought they would have patched by now. Glad its helped you out.
I my case if windows update service are turned on microsoft store will auto update visual c++ uwp versions and directX that will ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up everything and my game will start stutter.
Edit: I run textures on ultra.
The effect is due to the frames being limited to the monitors refresh rate (sync'ed), it eliminates the screen tearing.
Its ok if you dont want to turn the textures down. It doesnt make them look any different though and now I have everything else at ultra.
The video did solve my stutter problems thats why I posted it.
I have a 144hz gsync monitor so when I put on vsync to lock at 60fps that would be 144fps for me. I understand how vsync works for screen tearing but I have gsync.
No need to be so horrible when this will help some people.
Its just such a great game and people will be waiting for a fix so yes this is a quick fix for now that works.
