Board of Questions
This area is to thin out a little bit of comment clutter, half of it being me, woops.
Information regarding my methods, decisions and reasons on making these CWeps.

Feel free to add your thoughts or wonderings, but keep in mind, if it is criticism or profanity, this is not the place to put it.
Also suggestions don't go here, either. That's for the Suggestions Discussion. Same goes for issues/bugs, which also goes in the corresponding discussion.

One more thing to set things straight.
If you are to mention anything about realism, do consider the fact that what you are playing is a videogame. Videogames, so far, have not reached the par for realism. Whilst trying to make every weapon unique in the way they work, I do my best, from my knowledge and study, to simulate the behavior of these weapons. My only setback to contemplate on how these weapons work, is the fact that I cannot use them in my country without a wallet full of gun licenses.

Q
Is CW 2.0 required to use this?

A
No, not at all. Cturiselection has it's own base and will cause problems if both of them are active. Most Cturiselection SWEPs will not work with the original CW2.0 addon as it has Cturiselection base content, such as attachments or sounds.

Q
Are other peoples' CW2.0 sweps compatible with this base?

A
Yes. All weps should be fully functional with the CWC base.

If, on the off-chance the cw swep is not working, and it's description says it only needs the base, chances are it will be using the original cw2.0 sweps' assets, which can be found in the Classic 2.0 Sweps, found here.

Q
Are other CW2.0 weapons compatible with this base?

A
Yes. Everything will work with the CWC base.

If the cw swep is not working and it says it only needs the base to work, it might be using the old cw2.0 base weapons' sounds or assets. In which case, you can subscribe to the Classic CW 2.0 sweps, which will work with CWC base.

Q
Why do you set such a high recoil to your sweps?

A
This is to encourage manual compensation for gun rise. Some weapons are easier than others, and most rise. More modern firearms have systems that reduce or counteract this recoil and rise, but older ones are a serious pain, especially in automatic firing. Mechanically, there is a much lower limit of maximum inaccuracy when you aim, i.e. MaxSpreadInc.

If you don't know how to compensate for gun rise, simply look downwards till your view is level again to where your target is.

Tips for the recoil system can be found in the pastebin here. [pastebin.com]

Q
Why is the rate of fire not accurate to the real thing?

A
Most of the sweps i made are primarily for the punch and sound effects. Fire rate has an important role on this. Some weapons I fully understand and may change the fire rate to the correct number, for example the MAC-11 from the first swep pack.

In regards to realism, there are too many variables that affect a weapon's rate of fire. For a typical ArmaLite AR-15 is listed to aprox. 800rpm. When comparing this rate of fire in-game and with video footages of the rifle being used, it is far from the stated 800rpm, and therefore i take reference from the footage, and not by the statistics written in word.
Possibilities also affecting fire rate is cleanliness, heat, the power of the bullet fired, gas or recoil systems, a magazine's spring, etc, so i use my best and rounded judgement from multiple videos.

The stats of the weapons fire rate will not accurately reflect the demonstrated for CW weaponry, as the fire rates are rounded to the nearest ten milliseconds (every 0.01 seconds). The stat that is shown is just the number put into the code, multiplied into rpm that is then displayed.

More answers will be listed in the future.

Is CW 2.0 Required to use this?

Nope. Not at all. CWC Base is standalone.
Ayami 3 Thg08, 2017 @ 4:20am
And also, do it work with CW 2.0 weapons made by people?
CturiX  [nhà phát triển] 3 Thg08, 2017 @ 5:34am
Yes. Unless it isnt, and it says it only needs the cw2.0 base to run, then it probably needs the old swep assets, which can be found in the Classic CW2.0 sweps addon pack, so you dont have to sub to the original CW2.0 base for them to work.

Last question, does this work with attachments that some weapons may require?
CturiX  [nhà phát triển] 4 Thg08, 2017 @ 6:37am
That one's more common sense than anything. No, it has its own attachments. It does not provide attachments other addons have.
Ayami 4 Thg08, 2017 @ 6:38am
Like, i meant the attachment addons.
CturiX  [nhà phát triển] 4 Thg08, 2017 @ 6:42am
Same goes for vice versa. My cwc sweps will use their own attachments and not another addon's
Ayami 4 Thg08, 2017 @ 6:45am
So, does that mean the attachment addons i get only work for the normal CW 2.0 and the CW 2.0 downloaded guns?
CturiX  [nhà phát triển] 4 Thg08, 2017 @ 3:05pm
Only the downloaded CW weapons that require those attachment addons.

Is there a way to decrease the scope sensitivity? I cannot snipe anyone with the sensitivity I use for looking around. Also, I would like to know if you can decrease the iron sight mode sensitivity.
CturiX  [nhà phát triển] 29 Thg08, 2017 @ 4:13pm
i hate the scope sensitivity stuff, and i feel your pain, ill see if i can make a cvar for that, but i wont know the most easiest way. All sensitivities for scopes etc are based on the attachment which means it cant be supported with all scopes n stuff.
PetDetective512 29 Thg08, 2017 @ 6:08pm
Thanks for responding so soon! Have you looked at what TFA might have done to accomplish that? The programmer there might give you suggestions.
Ayami 29 Thg08, 2017 @ 10:18pm
Zafer, you can try looking in your attachments and removing some. There's a thing called "Handling" if i remember, the lower it is - the less sensitivity of scope is
Ayami 29 Thg08, 2017 @ 10:18pm
Also, i have a question for devs: Does this work with CW 2.0 - Melee?
