Problem: After loading game CTD's

Steam messed up on updating your mod. If resubscribing doesn't work, clear out your folder
'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\211820\733665104\" after unsubscribing, and then resubscribe. Make sure that your game is closed. If you get a permission denied error, then try doing it while Steam is closed as well.

No problem! Although pastebin is preferred, you actually showing me the log rather than simply stating the mod doesn't work was a huge help.
I've seen the error a couple of times, and it's either Steam or Windows causing it when a mod is updated.

I don't know why, but at least it seems easy enough to solve!

Two of my friends have had their charaters deleted after installing the mod, although I have not had this happen. I am on a desktop and I believe both are on laptops. Due to it never happening to me, I do not have anything to replicate or show what caused it. Posting this here because I didn't see it as anything known.

The issue you're describing is completely unrelated to this mod. Uninstalling certain mods may make your character unselectable because some details can't be found. The player files can be found in the storage/players folder.

Thought it was something about that, but they refuse to believe it was anything other than this mod due to "only installing this" and they of course, blamed me + the mod for the data loss. I will tell them what you said so they stop blaming the mod.

Sorry you understood my statement that way - I had 3 mods installed and i tried playing after uninstalling each one, after uninstalling this mod it removed my saved characters. I was smart enough to check the game's files and found a .player file. The second file is my unselectable character. I just need to find out how to get the character to begin showing up in the game and not just in the files, or to edit the game's coding to display characters with items that are supposedly broken or missing.

when selecting the removed items wooden ladder or harpoon gun, starbound freezes and has to be ended via task manager or alt-f4.

Can confirm, installing and uninstalling this mod do not affect your player file or universe. The only interaction SIP has with your files is that it gives you the items you choose to spawn.. and all items listed are vanilla items fetched from the game's assets every update.

@Alliostra: Yeah, sorry that CF doesn't remove old and broken assets. I have a tool that finds all items and makes a JSON file for the mod. Manually finding and removing bad entries every update is pretty tedious. Shouldn't freeze your game though. Just a short lag spike, and the interface will stop responding until you reopen it.

Not really a high-priority game breaking glitch or anything, but it does look a bit silly because of the rainbow hood's flamboyant color option parameters.

Warning. I've been using the mod to spawn in a set of weapons... when suddenly I get hit with a game-closing "Access Violation" the moment I so much as TOUCH The weapons.

I've got the same problem as everbody else.

Ive tried un-resubbing like you said, and nothing happened.
wierder thing is that this mod works fine on different PCs, where I run into another problem.

When i spawn in a random broadsword, and swap it with another random broadsword in my inv, the game crashes with an Access Violation. IDK if it's related to this mod because some vanilla players have the same problem, but i can /spawnitem the swords and they work fine.
