How to use!
So you've downloaded the addon, but how do you use it? Well there are two branches of the addon,

1: GHD (localized physics) - To create a Grav Hull, simply spawn a prop, pull out the Gravity Hull tool, and apply it to the prop. For props that have walls, such as the big blue dumpster, as long as you place it inside, you do not need a Vertical Protrusion Factor. For props that are flat, like say the blast-door prop, you need to use the Vertical Protrusion Factor. Usually, you're either using 500 or 0, with 500 being for flat props and 0 for props with walls. Essentially, the VPF increases the range of the hull.

2: MR (Infinite Maps) - To use Map Repeater, simply go on one of the infinite maps, such as gm_flatinfinite. That's it! As for creating infinite maps...check out the Facepunch thread. I made a video on how to make them.

Note: As for Gravity Percentage on GHD, that only works on players, because SetGravity only works on QPhysics objects and not VPhysics objects.

Perhaps someone should make a workshop version of some of the infinite maps if at all possible?
...
(I found the download in the description of the repeating map creation video in the facepunch thread)

The pack from Mediafire? Those are .vmf's for map creators. They're very basic maps used as templates or examples. The ones included in this version are the only finished* maps.

*Infinipit isn't what you might call finished, but it doesn't need to be. It's just for fun.

in the "Stools"... where else?
This could be possibly be used make a space mmo, or to improve standing on boats in flood

how to use cars like tdm or the hl2 buggy in flat infinite?
Meowrailigence 31/mar./2016 às 7:43
I can't shoot anything outside of my gravity hull.
(I wanna make an action movie scene where Im no the roof and shooing enemies below.

It's not under Stools. It's under Construction.

Everything is buggy in flat infinite, including props. I advise not messing with it untill he fixes it.

What do you mean? I haven't tested in a while, been playing DayZ.

Flat Infinite works fine in singleplayer, except with vehicles(SCars, WAC.) But when me and my friends loaded it in multiplayer things went a little arse-facey. Anything physical fell through the ground and reappeared elsewhere as if diving into water and submerging.

Also, you can't shoot things that aren't inside your gravity hull. Gets a little fustrating when trying to make a James Bond-like scene.
David Ralphsky  [desenvolvedor(a)] 8/abr./2016 às 13:14
Oh. That's a ShouldCollide confliction. Strange, I thought I fixed that...
Wait, it might not be on the Workshop version. Try the GitHub version[github.com], which gets more regular updates.

As for bullets across hulls, I'm trying. It's really, really complicated, especially since the hook I want to use for administering damage doesn't work with HL2 weapons.
Meowrailigence 8/abr./2016 às 13:58
Maybe this sounds stupid, but have you tried physical bullets? Props or entities acting as projectiles. Props move though hulls just fine (kind of.) Give it a try and respond to me when you see this.

That was the old method, that was about fifty lines long and incredibly ridiculously complicated, and is now obsolete because of FireBullets becoming a hook. My method was to use the traceline that is overridden by GHD and works across hulls, and simply having the person who gets shot be given the appropriate damage, but because HL2 weapons always output 0 damage for some reason, this didn't work. Will work on it later.
