I honestly like V1 design better
This new design is good, too, but if I had to pick between the two, I would pick Version 1 as the cooler design. I loved how sharp, shiny, and metallic the old one looked. I liked how the eyes were all glowing and cartoonish.

The reason for the changes was because V1 looked too much like it's source of inspiration, Potemkin from Guilty Gear: https://guiltygear.fandom.com/wiki/Potemkin
