I was testing the new update (x-megalodon) on genesis in singleplayer but when i did the destroywilddinos command the only thing spawning are fishes (salmon and coelacanth)

Hmm, that's very strange. I was hoping that Genesis spawns wouldn't be as different from the base game, but it seems it is a bit more complicated. I'll look into that soon, thanks for letting me know!

Aww, thank you so much! Still trying to figure out Genesis spawns, so we'll see how that goes. And I'm doing okay! I'm in good health and so is my family, I hope you're doing okay as well! <3

Is it possible, that the Alpha Supremis (that thing is HUUUGE :D) is a little bit shy? I could attack it easily and it just wouldnt attack me. I even forced tamed a ichty just to be sure that it just doesnt recognize my Deinosuchus (Ark Additions mod).

Glad to hear, that you're fine :). I'm fine too, being in Home Office for 8 weeks now and playing Ark all day long xD

Issue: "Swim/Idle Animation"
Description: I noticed that when it swims and/or is idle it's tail and body bend in a weird way and it's tail only sways 1 direction with fluid motion then stiff the other direction vs the smooth moving of the tail like an actual shark. Took some pics that show what i am talking about, the 1 side angle is moving the other 2 idle. You can also see the weird indent around it's gills like it's sunken in everytime it sways its tail.

did you also notice how close you have to be in order to damage things? like the hitbox of the megalodon is inside of its body. you have to get really close to creatures to do damage. it's like it still has the minoris megalodon hitbox.

also, yeah i also notice that too with the model.

but besides that, the supremis megalodon only difference from the normal megalodon is the size, health, and bleed.

it's still feels slow like the minoris. the health is much better, but it's still doesnt feel any different. the bleed is definitly good, but its hitbox is so small and can't hit things properly.

it would be cool if he slowed down the animation for the swim, because it seems silly for its tail to be swinging back and forth so fast.

Yeah, I'm going to remove the mod from my cluster because of this. Also, its a woman who developed this mod

oops, didn't know that... my bad. I just hope the ark devs do something with the vanilla megalodon and change it. it's pretty bad and the only thing going for it is the tek saddle but that's it.

they even got the size wrong. for perspective, if you <stand> next to the megalodon with a default ark character. it's really close to the size of a great white which could grow 24ft.

make sure your POV isnt wide, otherwise it makes things appear bigger than they actaully are.

i mean, if you actually pay attention, when you mount the vanilla megalodon. the character model gets shrunk for some reason just to fit the saddle. it's as if the megalodon supposed to be bigger but they made it smaller.

Hey! Sorry for lack of activity, I've been working on some independent projects and haven't been able to return to my mod for some time. I'll open the dev-kit back up and see if I can fix the issues ya'll have seen! I may do some revamps of it's systems as well, try to fine tune some of the things, as I feel I'm more experienced now than I was before.

As for the anims, I'm going to try to adjust the weight paint, but the animations are the exact same from the original model, so it probably doesn't count for some of the chunk I added to the design. I can try to tweak it, but I may end up creating a new set of anims if it proves more troublesome.

Also, for the hitbox issue, can you elaborate more? Is it the standard bite or the special? I tried the Supremis bite in the dev-kit and it seems to hit the way it should - still have to test the special.

Thank you for the input as well, I really do appreciate it!
