Trying to tank a boss monster when the entire party is down? check. using skills at bad times or when it places them too far to be useful? check. can't fight a single elite without wandering through a horde and losing 90% of their health? Check and double check.
Someone getting grabbed by a special? nah that 3 enemies is definately too dangerous to leave alone. they won't hit specials that even a nearsighted person could clearly see and tagging doesn't make it their focus well enough. (and of course they won't bother if there's anything near them to begin with. they won't even save THEMSELVES.)
At times they will literally stand there and do nothing. One time up against a WarpFire Rat, the BOT just went straight head on and tank the thing trying to overpower it.
Then there are times the BOT will just wander off on it's on chasing an enemy...
I'm not holding my breath on this getting updated or re-sanctioned though, seeing as how Fatshark isn't approving any more mods for official realm. It was fun while it lasted, now we just have to hope to match with actual people instead of just enjoying the game with semi-decent support.
typically we've had runs with a bot in it fail because the bot will wander off out of position for no reason even with an active fight going.
all the people saying bots are fine and then outline how to play with bots don't realize that if they were correctly made you wouldn't need to play AROUND THEM only with them. you wouldn't need to teach someone how to play with a bot, and you shouldn't have to. I get fairly tired of watching the bot die to things they should handle by just swinging in its general direction...not even a strat, just swing at it.
