This three-map campaign is great proof that you don't need to be long or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long to be entertaining enough, both in quality and sheer fun factor. Blood Proof is designed in a simple, straightforward and modest way. It doesn't try to pretend to be more than it is and establishes its motives easily and quickly, which makes for a real feel for its production and style.

Each map is relatively short, but each has enough quality to establish its own power without having to rely on the narrative of the others. Tied together in a logical and sensible way, they establish a simple premise: survive and run. The design is good enough and detailed enough to give off some great satisfying vibes. In this case it reminds me of Death Toll, due to its dark aesthetic and urban setting, a theme that despite being repeated to death previously, manages to be rejuvenated in a good way with these maps.

The gameplay remains stable and concrete. It relies mainly on a factor of speed and constant movement. There are multiple hordes and choke points, but at no point did I ever feel unfairly vulnerable or suffocated by lack of weapons or ammunition. It maintains a good balance slightly above average difficulty and creates excellent combat scenarios, which beg for great speed and teamwork.

While the ending felt a bit underwhelming and overwhelming at the same time (due to the sudden cut of action into an elevator) it still offered fun in a good manner.

Blood Proof is a fast paced and solid campaign that offers a solid 30 minutes of entertainment. With a relatively above average challenge, it has its priorities high on attacking fast and moving fast. Frenetic and sweet, it establishes a solid quality of progression thanks to the great balance between visuals and gameplay. It does everything it needs to do and nothing else. A campaign worth playing now.
