- using the sword costs stamina. running low on stamina makes the swings shorter, drastically reduces the damage and stun time, and can even stun the user.
- parrying spears or other swords instantly refreshes your stamina.
- i have no idea how this would work with gourmand.
my only suggestion to improve the controls of it is make it prioritize swinging vertically over horizontally, like the hollow knight nail. currently if both up and left are held, the sword will slash to the left but it'd be much nicer if it slashed up.
