Description
This mod's world changes require starting new save files (for each campaign or region, Story or Expedition) to take effect.

DOWNPOUR USERS: Please make sure this mod loads after More Slugcats Expansion and Scorched District. This mod is designed to work with non-Downpour users as well as Downpour users.

NON-DOWNPOUR USERS: Please remove the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\312520\3088328875\music\procedural\gw; it is intended for Downpour users only.

If you have Frigid Threat Themes and/or Roasted's Threat Themes, I recommend you put them before and after this mod, respectively.

FEATURES:
- Slightly tweaks spawns, primarily to:
-- Smoothen out most difficulty spikes in Monk's campaign
-- Make engaging the lineage system increase the game's difficulty more consistently
- Replaces some Spitter Spiders in the (non-Downpour and Expanded) Leg with Wolf Spiders, making the place less of Spitter hell
- Fixes up spawns in all region expansion mods
- A Lizard Customizer pack in the files, for use with that mod

DOWNPOUR FEATURES:
- Easier unused-campaign spawns for Metropolis, Submerged Superstructure, Waterfront Facility, and Looks to the Moon pre-collapse. Now fully compatible with Rotten City, Hunter Expansion, and Shoreline Is Over!
- Overhauls the name and soundtrack set of pre-Hunter Garbage Wastes.
- Fixes certain palette combinations for Artificer's campaign, as well as early- and late-timeline Sump Tunnel and Rivulet's Shoreline.
- Improves naming for a few subregions, namely those of Iterators.
- Incorporates unused threat theme layers into some campaigns of a few regions.
- Implements Roasted's Communications Array and The Rot threat themes into Windswept Spires and Deep Maw, respectively (Thanks for letting me use your soundtracks, Roasted!).
- Removes certain soundtracks from Saint's campaign (to give an increased feeling of desolation and time passage), those being "Urban Jungle", "Garbage City Shuffle"'s appearance in the middle of Glacial Wasteland, "Overcast", "Rooftops", "Veiled Northstar", "Lonesound", "Wind Chimes", "Distance"'s appearance in Desolate Fields, "Emotion Thread", "Deep Energy", "Grumblebum"'s appearance when going east through Primordial Underground, "Leviathan Cave", "Desolate Subway"'s appearance near Primordial Underground's entrance from Desolate Fields, "Filtration System", "Memory Crypts", "Silent Construct", and (for region expansion mods) "Halcyon Memories", "StepsSteps", and "Chlorine".
- Fixes up the precycle spawns of Saint's campaign, allowing some (canonically non-extinct) different special enemies to appear when the Force Shelter Failures mod is active.
- Partially renames some, but not all, of the regions in Rivulet's campaign, befitting their changes in atmosphere:
Region
Pre-Hunter Name
Rivulet Name
Outskirts
Rainy Outskirts
Industrial Complex
Industrial Marshland
Garbage Wastes
Acerbic Station
Blanching Wastes
Pipeyard

Sump Tunnel

Fixes for certain Rivulet and Saint shelters and gates are still on the way.

If you have any mods whose devs can't patch them that you'd like this to be compatible with, please let me know. Though I do have a few small plans of my own here; please be patient.

hey just letting you know that this breaks spearmaster's SU_A23, i think it breaks the connection? game softlocks when you go through the pipe through SU_A22

suggestion: compatibility with hunter's exclusive garbage wastes, renaming that version of the region to "collapsing station"
although idk how good of an idea that is when hunter's exclusive garbage wastes is still kinda buggy and is part of a larger project that is still very unfinished

To those who use Roasted's Threat Themes, you'll probably realize that Vents doesn't have any threat track playing. If you're like me and too lazy to check, you can instead do it the harder way (or honestly just better way if you don't like checking its position in the load order) and go into DM's txt file (dm.txt) in the procedural folder from the Roasted mod. I think its in modify idk I forgot lol its not hard to find once you're there (the mod folder's name is the numbers after id= when you press the share button). When you're there, you'll have to change Looks to the Moon (Vents) to just Vents. Will work after that. Though, if you obey the load order, you probably won't have a problem.

@Blizzard Psyche Did you just call me a nerd, GEEK?

dude it's a bunch of joke names it's not that deep

@riley_ that still has a different energy than uberhang but it's a lot better than just calling it "blue". also, i'm well aware that the train lizards aren't referenced in-game in any way. that's not my point. my point is that "train world" wouldn't work as a name. it doesn't sound like any of the other inv names, and it doesn't make sense. the player wouldn't know they're called train lizards without peeping the wiki or eyeing the code, since there is nothing referring to them in any way in the entire game. even if they were called train lizards at some point, that wouldn't make "train world" a good name. and my suggestion wasn't very good either. like you said, it was too serious. only the actual developers who created the real inv names could make something with the same energy.

i thought it was pretty funny making it a single word. alright, how's "Heaven Pierce Her - Deep Blue (feat. Quetzal Tirado) (ULTRAKILL OST)"?
also again, the train lizards are not referred to in-game at all. there's not a single pearl, expedition challenge, or piece of dialogue that references them. have a feeling that was the case in the hurricane mod too. wiki calls em train lizards and train is similar to rain so it's train world. "infested monument" sounds way too serious.
riley_ 6 May @ 1:59pm
though the inv region renames are meant to fit the gimmicks those regions have for inv, such as the inability to jump in chimney canopy, the exterior being full of bug zappers, and communications array having a lot of slime mold.
riley_ 6 May @ 1:56pm
the inv region renames are jokes anyway i didn't think too hard about them. the wall is "Blue" because it's really blue for inv, industrial is "train world" because train lizards and rain world.
also "shrouded smokestacks" for rivulet's chimney canopy goes hard af.
