Portal (Scripted) [Portal: The Uncooperative Cake Acquisition Game]

Descrição
"With a grinding of gears and some uneasy rumbling, Aperture Laboratories has resumed testing! Your team of test subjects has entered the Lab and is ready to perform all sorts of important, dignified, and dangerous testing procedures...all in the pursuit of cake! It's a fun and funny fast-paced fight to the finish — and by finish, we mean your team probably died.

The Lab is an ever-changing conveyor belt of death and dismemberment. But SCIENTIFIC PROGRESS must be at the forefront of the mind of every good test subject. In Portal: The Uncooperative Cake Acquisition Game, a game of constantly shifting area control and cardplay by the creators of the Portal and Portal 2 video games, players move and Portal their test subjects to various chambers in the lab. At the end of each player's turn, one of the chambers on the end of the lab gives way, plunging all test subjects on it into oblivion. But should your test subjects have numbered greater than all others in the falling chamber, they earn you some wonderful parting gifts, which can include cake.

Yet these moist slices of industrial-grade cake must be stored in the lab where they are at risk of falling into said oblivion. Not to mention that your jealous opponents can pick up your cake and move it closer to that precipice. He who has acquired the most cake when a team has lost its last test subject wins. Do you risk gathering cake early for a quick win? Or do you bide your time and wait until you can protect it better? Win the game and prove the cake was no lie."

Op. With the deepest respect. I am begging and pleading at your feet here: Please upload a version without the giant Bendy and Glados figurines ominously hovering in the background. I'm also seconding the no-clear-table comment but primarily what I'm saying here is that if I get jumpscared by giganto-glados one more time I'm going to go into cardiac arrest.

I just love that this exists in this game. Thank you for taking the time out of your life to make this. (Fitting for my name-sake being short for "Addicted to Portal" XD)

I like this mod, very well scripted- but some of my players were wishing for a more contrasting color background or a non-clear table

I've made some adjustments to the mod, Cpt. Chaser. If you run into the issue again, let me know.

Mm. I shall poke and prod at the mod a little until it sees the error of its' ways (I've a fair idea of where the difficulty with your play of it is). Give a couple of days and I'll post back here.

We did it, we got the error saying 'Minimum Length of a row of test-chambers is three', and then got an error in the chat saying

"Error in Script (Global) function
<startLuaCoroutine/getgladosbackout>: Object
reference not set to an instance of an object
Error in Script (Global) function
<startLuaCoroutine/gladosrefusalfull>: <Unknown Error>"

Glados was then broken (no row selection or ability to activate).

When you say 'breaks', can you specify what you mean?
Removal of a chamber from a row of 3 is forbidden by the game rules unless it is being moved to the same row, because the minimum (or 'mininum', as I see I have typo-ed it in the 'BroadcastToAll' announcement text) length of a chambers-row is 3.
If you attempt to call upon GLaDOS to break the game-rules in this way she should shake her head and a text announcement appear stating that it is forbidden.
Is this not what happens? If not, what does in fact happen?

After struggling to understand the manual for ages, we then broke the game near immediately.

When having a row of 3 chambers, if you try and remove one, it breaks.

Have loaded mod and checked - appears to be fine.

That's what I had thought, but it wasn't working.
