It may be that you have not agreed to the Steam Subscriber Agreement (SSA). If you have not, if I'm correct, you are unable to upload any content. To agree to the SSA just go into your profile then click 'Workshop Items' then click 'View Legal Agreement' and click 'Accept.' I've done this in order to release content--it doesn't cost anything--it's no biggie but it is important.

k_EResultFail may come from the fact that Stick Fight is trying to upload your content to your profile but you've not agreed to the SSA thus it has an error. Also, if you manage to get it working, you may need to change the name of the content. If you use the same name and it prompts you with the message "Publish as New" or "Update Existing", always choose "Publish as New." This did stop Steam from giving me an error, but Stick Fight is still giving me the same error.
