Maya: Cats of Istanbul is a game I developed inspired by my love for cats and the enchanting atmosphere of Istanbul. As someone living in Istanbul, creating a game about Istanbul’s cats is a source of pride. Also, the name Maya belongs to my cat :)

A portion of the game’s revenue will be used to support feeding, shelter, and healthcare expenses for stray animals. I will transparently share this process with our Steam community and on our social media accounts.

What is Maya: Cats of Istanbul?

Legend has it that cats were cherished residents of the Ottoman palaces. Over time, they spread throughout Istanbul, becoming invaluable allies in the fight against rats and winning the hearts of the city’s people.

Maya: Cats of Istanbul is a hidden object game where you need to find adorable cats hidden in the streets and historical landmarks of Istanbul. As you search for the cats cleverly tucked into intricate details, you will explore Istanbul’s iconic architecture and lose yourself in its detailed models. You will even come across famous Istanbul cats like Gli and Tombili in the game :)

Rotate the entire city,

Check every tree,

Open every trash box

Search everywhere—race against time to achieve success, or play at without any time limits.

The game consists of different levels featuring Istanbul’s iconic locations:

Galata Tower

Hagia Sophia

Topkapi Palace

If there’s enough demand from players, an additional bonus level featuring Cappadocia, outside of Istanbul, will be added to the game!
