“We firmly believe that the key to creating the best possible game is to engage players in its development process. It is you who will be best equipped to evaluate our work, underline the game's strong and weaker points, and propose exciting features that you loved in different titles. During the development of Dante's Ring, we are committed to listening to you, the community.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We are strongly focused on creating an engaging gameplay and a captivating story for Dante's Ring, and that is why we plan to utilize the Early Access to the fullest. Even if it affects our timeline a bit, we promise to focus on the quality of our work, so that later on you can come back to Dante's Ring and have the same amount of fun you had at the beginning. At the moment we are aiming for 2026 for the release of the full version.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The first Early Access version will be fully playable. During the EA period, we plan to add new elements and features such as new locations, tools, ways of traversal and mini-games. We also plan to work on storyline bits and story ending that will be added to the full version of the game.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“We already have a playable build of the game in which you can take part in rescue runs, manage your equipment and resources, rescue people, talk with them in a hub, use retro tools and more. We hope to bring you an interesting core gameplay at the beginning of the Early Access. Please refer to „About this” section of the store page for full list of features.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We plan for Dante's Ring to have a lower price during the Early Access period. Later on prices may vary depending on external factors, but at the beginning we want to reward players who are ready to help us make this game a great experience for all.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We encourage you, players, to help us co-create the game in each possible way: by testing new builds of the game, evaluating separate assets (eg. graphics) or just chatting with us about possible features. If you are interested in the game's co-development, check out our Discord or Steam discussions. We await brave heroes who will (quite literally) jump in the fire to enhance gameplay experience for players all over the world.”

Dante’s Ring is an action-adventure RPG with survival and arcade elements, where you engage in a disaster combat, and confront the deadliest forces of nature — from raging fires and molten lava to powerful earthquakes.

WHO WILL YOU BE?

You take on the role of one of the bold explorers investigating what appears to be an extinct volcanic range. Strive to survive and save as many lives as possible while facing the force of nature, the aftermath of a natural disaster, deep-seated human beliefs, social conflicts, and your own inner demons. Will you uncover the mysteries hidden beneath Dante's archipelago, the most seismically and volcanically active zone in the world?

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

You will fight the nature's wrath among mystical beliefs by using retro-stylized equipment, like a thermovisor and shooter-style, live-saving weapons (eg. extinguishing shotgun, fire bomb launcher, and more). Use tools such as axes and hammers to break through walls in burning buildings to reach those in need. Rappel across rivers of lava and be aware of exploding vehicles, volcanic bombs, and earthquakes that change the map layout, sometimes cutting your way of escape entirely.

Will you fight a frenetic fire or flee from a pyroclastic flow? Break the door to rescue someone or stop to give a first aid? Once the volcano’s hot breath reaches you, every second counts.

Dante's Ring offers a fresh approach to gameplay, focusing on disaster combat and immersing you in a mesmerizing, eerie world where you pass through the gates of hell to save just one more life from its grasp.

GAMEPLAY FEATURES

  • Traverse an extremely dangerous terrain by using retro inventions.

  • Use live-saving weapons such as a fire extinguishing pistol, fire extinguishing shotgun, fire bomb launcher and more.

  • Prepare for missions in the hub by selecting the equipment for your preferred gameplay styles/classes.

  • Complete quests and missions with outcomes that can influence the course of the story.

  • Scavenge for resources using retro tools on an island covered in a thick layer of ash.

  • Navigate complex moral choices and broker uneasy peace among diverse factions — all vying for survival.

  • Uncover the mystery hidden in Dante's archipelago.

  • Surround yourself with retrofuturistic designs and captivating music.
