Also, the track feels too split up. Like the track was divided by hazard, with a bit of normal track in between to connect it all.
I like the end of the track though, the idea there was nice. And the sand spilling onto the track was also nice, although it was hard at times to find out where exactly the track went. And a few more pyramids might have been nice. The scorpions were a nice touch, but though they look nice, it gives off the idea that there's just a bunch of scorpion statues sitting next to the track, instead of them actually being responsible for attacking the driver.
Just some constructive criticism. Hope I didn't come off too harsh. xD
The track layout itself could also use some work. There's not really much going on with it. The quicksand section could use some tweaking too. The road's a bit small and it's way too easy to shoot off the edge, even when not boosting. As well as the rock and scorpion section. The obstacles seem a bit random and small.
Some more checkpoints would also help. The sections are a bit long, and are only made even longer by the constant crashing.
