I juge the map by what i have saw... Idiot Frankens make bug in the system ! With all these good comments and favorited, you can accept a bad feedback dude. If it's was me which have build this test, all my testers would like to kill me. I know that i didn't complete this test in the correct solution, but when you create obscur chamber, make sure to see obscur solutions that you didn't intended

@Daoud Baba: So well done for finding an exploit in my map if you think you were able to finish it not the way it was intended (I don't remember perfectly the solution right now). Anyway you shouldn't juge a map based on how much you can break it but on how long it takes for you to find the solution expected by its creator ;)

1.5 years later.
revisited map & easily lifted franken,
which would not raise, just before funel, in previous attempt-sept 2012.
got a bit disoriented & what do I do now ?
when I had the 2 frankens in the final sequence.
but seconds later, the view of the open exit door prevented frustration :)
good map / thumbs up.

You're right. If I had just been a little more persistent in figuring a way back to the light bridge then I wouldn't have needed noclip. Nevermind.

Here's one idea: You could try moving the square button to the other side of the glass, making that glass a grating, and making some room in the ceiling so you can lift the cube over and onto the button. Once the button is activated a panel closes off the ceiling so you can't get it out again. That still leaves room for the player to screw himself by knocking the cube off the button and out of reach, but it should at least be more obvious that it's supposed to stay there.

Okay I played it again, so about the first point grating may help for sure, but as you are not really stuck (you can still portal on the surface of the bridge over the angled panel) I don't know if I will change this part.
And about the second point : What I need is a wayt to "lock" the franken cube on the cube button, but doing that may change a lot the configuration of the map...

Not sure about the first place where you noclipped, will have to replay the map to remamer exactly that part X)

I know than you can do crap in this place if you thros the cube, but don't think I could fix it easily... Will try if I update the map again ^^

I love the concept; this map is definitely unique. It took me a while to figure out just how closely you have to look. My favorite part was getting past the second light bridge barrier; that's a trick I haven't seen before.

I had to use noclip twice. The first was to go back and get a portal at the right angle on the first light bridge so I could use it to climb the shaft instead of just portalling. Maybe some grating over those portal surfaces would make it more clear that you have to keep the bridge?

The second was when I grabbed the franken cube from the ceiling and it seemed natural to just toss it in front of the second laser through the ceiling as well. It would be nice if there was some way to reset or prevent that, but it's probably not feasible.

Excellent map ... you really know how to expand the boundaries of what's possible with the in-game editor. That was an amazing experience crawling through those shafts with all those bugs around. I got a bit lost at the end, only one step short of opening the exit door but I guess there's only so much you can clarify with the PeTI signage and ant llines. Wonderful job!!!

@gen, had to no clip because i had no portable panel to walk into to get out. I got the frankencube though the roof, but then i put it on the wrong side of the door by chucking in though the side panel.

Good map though, very interesting to play.

About the first point... You are supposed to take the franken cube this way... Not sure why you had to noclip here XD
And about the second : I placed a cube button on the other side of the grid to deactivate the laser, to be sure the player may not be stuck because he forgot the franken cube on the other side X) But if the cube walked to the other side of the laser... You are probably stuck yeah ^^"

i think so. i chucked the franken cube in front of the lazer, through the roof and had to no clip to fix it. There was also one other place, where you have to get through the light bridge, The cube walked off behind the red laser so i had to go get him again

Great map, it was really awesome to see how the 'bugs' worked in the end. I thought it would be a complex array of lazer grids, but no.

i got stuck a couple of times, but nothing a little no clip couldnt fix. haha

Lol, I was texting while I played so I lost track of how I got in there; for the longest time I thought that was part of the solution. I'm sure I'm the minority though. Perhaps you could put a fizzler across the white square next to that laser, and deactivate it via the cube button if you decide to fix it though. Although it's really not a big deal; hard to actually get stuck if you have any common sense.

@Ravoria : Thanks for testing ^^ Well, cube tossing is an unexpected action as glitches and other things like that... I don't think I will try to fix that part as it is not an exploit (you can't finish the map if you do that), and you probably know that you're trying to cheat the map when you do it ;) (Also adding a cube dropper for this cube is impossible if you understood the role of the cube at the beginning :p)
Anyway thanks for the info... Will add your map to the list and play it when I have a moment ^^ (that could be in a long time but I will do it).

Excellent, excellent level, can't seriously think of a way this could have been better. I also liked that I was able to toss the first franken-cube at the important laser through the ceiling portal, which opens up the window to the main room but ultimately does nothing; thought it was a paradox until I noticed the next bit. It is possible to get stuck if you do that, though, so you might want to give that cube a button or someting.
Since you offered, here's my latest project. Be warned, it's kinda hard and very long.

Strange really... Maybe again this glitch that sometimes happen with franken cubes : they may get stuck "in" the grid, so you can't move them out... Here it may be stuck in the floor grid... But that never happen to me during the tests anyway ^^"

Hem, why can't you drop the franken cube in the funnel? You mean that you can't grab it and get it over the grid in the precedent puzzle?? If so, this is weird, and completely unexpected... It is supposed to work, you have to take the franken cube with you to the main command room (where you found the first franken cube)...

tried map again & could just see a portable area through small gap in panel.
but can't lift franken cube to drop in funel, to activate button.
I can move hin=m side to side, forward & back.
but not upwards ?

you could stop us exiting straight away.
by putting fizzler over the button,
& a 2nd button which we have to stand on, to remove the fizzler.
both buttons away from exit door & within cube dropping reach of each other.
or change the button to a pedestal button.

good brocken map.
but 1st attempt I got traped, by piston, with frankin cube to my side, behind glass.
also franking cube above me, slightly to my right.
2nd attempt, I broke it.
I put the cube in front of me, on a portable floor.
then with my back pressing against the exit door & finger on the "S" key.
I fired a portal ot the top of the wall, in line with the button.
then the other portal under the cube.
the cube hit the button & I reversed through the door.
