Even so, i moved to the near-most planet, walked a few meters and got promptly obliterated by a cyclop-Spider thing.
Maybe consider installing this after reaching late game.
The custom songs are the following:
Voidum (white dim): Whitespace Ambient, by Spiral Knights.
Scarlet (red dim): Castle Action, by Spiral Knights.
Sky (light blue dim): Sky Island Day Action, by Spiral Knights.
Sleepy (dark blue dim): Sky Islands Day Ambient, by Spiral Knights.
Core (unimplemented dim): Crystal Fields, by me.
Base editable pocket dimensions plays M54 from SB's own OST, the rest of the themed ones play their respective songs.
As far as I'm aware Gyrusens+ doesn't integrate anything with FR, that might be a problem with FR itself. I could help dissect the crash log if you have it available; send me a pastebin link in the bug thread of the log and we'll see what's causing the problem.
You must first find an unstable random portal (typically found on moons) and collect the scraps it leaves behind (or find additional scraps inside the random dimension's hidden chests). This will unlock a recipe that will allow you to create a pocket dimension portal. Additionally, finding a particular vendor inside one of the random dimensions will allow you to unlock additional 4 different variants of pocket dimensions, for a total of 5 unique pocket dimensions.
The portals make a separate world file within the universe once you step inside them. These world files remain in your universe folder and can be accessed by any character interacting with said save; that's how the game works.
Pocket Dimensions are not character-specific, but instead are persistent worlds that are not tied with universe generation. They are shared throughout all characters within the same universe.
@Phias
No worries! The datapatch should automatically be accepted by the quest, however it's not consumed, so you may store it away or trash it.
Ah! Thanks for clarifying. I thought i was a real unlucky sap for quite some time now. Glad to know i'm not. Also love the mod and keep up the good work.
Extremely late response, sorry! The quests are still not complete in this build, nor in the dev build... at least not yet! The quest will span throughout the mod's lifetime until a particular update, which at that point will conclude and give the quest (and the mod) closure.
You get the Data Patch by crafting it through an anvil, iirc
Once the main cities are working, yes they will!
They do! They're not exactly large, but there's two types of villages; a small village with a couple of shops, and a settlement which is meant to have a portal that takes you to the main city. Currently the main city has been removed from the mod due to remodeling, and the portal has been deactivated until its reimplemented.
