Excellent mod!!! Multiple endings, morally grey choices, a unique soundtrack!

The only downside for me is that I've got a bug which makes it so that the standard "city ambience" music from this mod is now the only one that queues when playing anywhere else in game (riverwood, windhelm, the blue palace, etc. All now only have that music playing, which is annoying and sickenning to say the least. the music is great, but I've now heard it so much that I'm starting to dream of it, so I'll be uninstalling the mod. Will play again with a different character, though!

This mod is certainly worth playing. However, I recommend the standalone game with the same name. The standalone version is much more polished, has more edges rounded and even better acting. Oh, and although you will recognise characters from the mod, the story is new and plenty of gameplay mechanics received a well-deserved overhaul.

Oh boy...I hope you all know about the standalone game that has been released under the same name, it leaves a mark on your soul...in a good way!

I played this a couple of years ago and still find myself talking about the story and recommending it to my friends.
Just play it.

The worst part of this mod is that it ruined skyrim for me. I simply can't enjoy vanilla skyrim quests because they don't hold a candle to the amazing storytelling of this mod. 11/10 mod, can't recommend it enough.

Holy moly I did not expect such an immersive experience for free in Skyrim.
Glad I downloaded this on a whim. Felt like playing a whole different game.

If you read this and consider playing this, you should! However, do bring a buttload of lockpicks with you.

It's easily the best quest mod for Skyrim I've ever came across. Excellent storytelling, solid voice acting, engaging little side quests, NPCs are way more memorable than vanilla NPCs, each has it's story and feels like a real character. I wonder what a legendary and ageless game Skyrim might be if all vanilla big questlines were done as great as this is...

I enjoyed this mod, but will be removing it from my load order, due to having bought the Game of this that just came out.

I played this mod a while back. This feels like a full fledged DLC. As much as I enjoy Dragonborn or Dawnguard, this is even better then those. This is the best Quest mod I have ever played, and one of the best quests in all of Skyrim period. The quest doesn't hold your hand, so don't expect a lot of quest markers. Some people hate quest markers, and some see them as a must, so just be warned. The characters are memorable, and likable. The story is mind blowing, and has different outcomes. Very engaging city that was created here, well worth exploring, and talking to the NPC's. Only thing that could possibly be a negative is there is a way to skip the whole quest, and finish it in minutes. Like I said different outcomes. I wouldn't advise going that route though.

Unbelievable mod, should try it if you haven't already.

i have done this quest .. is very good Quest, but the Solider wo lost .. buggt in the entrace back and the quest cant complete. 4/5Stars

This is easily one of the best mods I have ever played. I first played it on the XB1, and since I found out you're making a full game with this concept I've had that on my wishlist for a long time now.

I'm sure this will just get lost but I had to let you know how much I enjoyed every minute of this mod! Every new game I start I have to head for the forgotten city, I can't properly express how much I look forward to playing through this. It is without a doubt, my favourite mod, no question. The multiple branches and rich story, along with the full voice acting, make it really professional and enjoyable. Seriously Good Job +++++++

Re-downloaded skyrim recently, sadly this mod was unable to download due some problem with
steam service. This mod is one of my best memories about skyrim, I had so much fun with it few years back.

I installed this ages ago and then forgot about it. Stumbled across it recently not realising it wasn't vanilla content and wondered to myself why this one quest area was so much higher quality than the rest of Skryim.

Story telling is incredible, one of the most intriguing and complex stories of any game I've played. Really makes the rest of the game look like they accidentally left in placeholder dialogue.

Voice acting is pretty good, nothing special but it is a million times better than the standard set by Bethesda. I think there may be a greater number of voice actors in this mod alone than in the whole of vanilla Skyrim.

Some of the custom animations are a bit wonky, detracts a little from the overall experience, most of the animations used however are vanilla assets.

Level design is very good, comparable to the rest of the game, again mostly built with vanilla assets.

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to in this case. This mod is EXCELLENT! Around what turned out to be only maybe 50% through, I thought "Well, this is interesting. Worth the play-through.", but as I played more and unlocked the entire story, I was impressed far beyond that earlier impression. This mod is very much worth your time. I liked this enough that when I first found a path to the end, I reverted to a saved game so I could pursue the questlines that were still left unfinished, intending to mop those up before going back to that end path and finishing for good... and after I did go back and mop everything up, I ended up finishing through a much more interesting and rewarding path than the first one I had discovered, so I was glad I made the decision I did. I'd say I spent at least 6-8 hours on this mod.

So I can't get the boots for some reason, it does not spawn in the house for me and I've reset a bunch of times ,still nothing. Can someone help?

Finished playing this questline yesterday, what a great addition to the world. Skyrim needs more stuff like this.

Excelent! It's made on a professional level, and has a lot of new quests and dialoguse to keep you entertained.

I've only recently started playing this mod but listening to Gulvar's story is more than worth it. Through the classic Skyrim storylines, I had never felt connected to pixels, but, this mod changed that. I'm not sure whether I had really ever connected to RPG's before this, but the voice acting was truly spectacular, and I am a true convert because of it. Although I did not weep, I cried, and I hope that aligns with the sentiment of the voice actor, and the author, of this interactive tale.

Extremely well made mod. Pretty much professional level content and scenery throughout, with several hours worth of new story lines and around 24 fully voiced characters, most of whom are tied into various side quests and aspects of the main story.

The story is very well written and throws some excellent curve balls and moral issues into the mix. In some ways it was reminiscent of a particularly large and elaborate experimental Vault scenario from Fallout.

Also provided a lot of fun rewards without overdoing it, and one particularly odd and interesting artifact for completing the main story successfully.

Big kudos to the designer(s)!

Very cool mod. This was a lot of fun to play, and very atmospheric. I have to admit, there was one room I didn't fully complete because I was alone in the house, playing at night, and it was just too atmospherically creepy! 10/10, would definitely recommend.

bro this mod is amazing, the story is engaging and voice acting is beyond any praise, many ending of which the happy one is extremely satisfying, the city is fun to explore and rewards it, and there's no unnecessary "lore", it's fun to play and it makes you feel as if this should've been the part or the main game all along

I was nervous about this but I love Dwemer ruins so I gave it a try !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W O W no dissappointment at any point in the play thru. Astonishing. I Love it. Now I have been there it won't be the same but I am looking forward to doing some things different.

Awesome storyline, so intricate I couldn't believe it was just a mod and not official DLC! I do wish I had played it at a higher level not as soon as it was available to have a better experience with more options though. Also some of it was quite complicated and I don't think I could have figured it out without occasionally looking up tips. But it was very interesting and engrossing overall.

This is an amazing mod. Amazing story, great surprises, fun encounters, overall, just a really fun adventure. Worth your time.
