Sorry to disappoint you @Mercy, but all the code I thought I could cross reference turned out to be code from LWM's Deep storage mod, and requires that mod specifically to hide objects on a shelf :( Since this is just a silly little xml mod, I can't really add that in anymore without going deep into dependencies and c# coding and whatnot.

@Eny Ace Yes, yes it is. That's just how rimworld has coded it for shelves with a single item type in it. You could have different chunks in the same shelf, which looks less neat but doesn't stack to the sky

Ah, I see why now. Just checked in game, I made this mod to include things like chunks and all corpses, because I thought it'd be funny and useful, which is why it's still included and why you can put mechs like Diabolus on your shelf.

Also, I think I /Might/ have found a way to stop the contents from being rendered, so I'll look into that too. Maybe a crate of holding is possible

Hi! Just wanted to mention that the shelves no longer have option to disable Mech corpses being stored in 1.5.

Also, this is one of my "must have" mods, as I am kind of a hoarder...

Can you do a chest or bag of holding too? I like the shelves but the game constantly drawing over 100,000 objects drains my fps. Any way you could add a closed storage option like a hole in the ground or a bag?

I took a look at this mod's files and used the idea to add a RimFridge submod for a Refrigerator version. Please take a look if you'd like a Shelf of Holding that keeps a theoretically infinite amount of beer frosty cold.

Nope, made this as soon as the new shelves were implemented in Rimworld 1.4. It doesn't steal any code from Deep storage, and was made as both a joke and as a temporary replacement for deep storage until they updated it to 1.4 themselves.

I laugh at how the items stack, my steel is stacked in a large pillar that rises past the map border and outside of bounds. A leaning tower of metal, looming over head.
