Wow, a creator that comes online still? Usually they would stay offline for so long, you thought they would not be coming back? Btw, I like this mod alot, very rarely you would see circular saws be just as popular as the normal chainsaw.

I downloaded this release here to test. This mod is not broken.

Plus, considering that fact that the model part of this mod has not been modified since 2018 and the vanilla model hasn't changed either, I see no way how this could break to begin with.

Reminds me of PAYDAY 2's OVE9000 drill saw

when u using it sometime its play shove animation and u should change the attacking animation as its take like half of your screen while using ,buts its a great mod anyway

it has a hud icon in it. which back when i made this required its own script.
I could change it around so it no longer needs the script. since the TLS update fixed that issue.
i was just too lazy to do anything about it.

By the by; you can feel free to get rid of the script since the TLS update made hud icons separate VTFs instead of using one big icon sheet

i made tons of mods with hud icons and i only get people complaining that is has a script when they use a weapon stat booster mod.
i know what is allowed to do and what isn't.

I am also playing this game for many years. I am just talking from experience. You know, its kinda weird when people randomly get disconnected at map change (10-20% chance) and they get a error about a chainsaw weapon. And no, many of them dont even use any mods. Once I remove that item, everything works fine. Maybe you just dont host any servers and therefore dont know these problems. And that error disappears when I deactivate this chainsaw mod. There is a reason that people dont include icons into the weapon mods and if, they offer them seperately.

hud script changes can not prevent you from playing online.
i've been modding for 8 years, i am aware of what i do and what i can do.
if other scripts stop you from playing, then those other people are messing it up.

Can you do a version without the HUD icon change? Those icons often conflict with other mods and often even cause people to get disconnected because they are wonky and partly considered scripts.

I do concrete work and that is -almost- the exact hotsaw we use...Right on!
