Boundaries

설명
See all those servers with construct, carcon_ws etc, and you don't have space to build? Then this map is for you!
A completely flat map that hits the boundaries (limits) of the Source Engine!
roughly 32768^3 units for you to build in!

· Perfect for building planes! The sky height is at limit!
· Freedom to build!
· Obstacles will no longer bother you, the map is completely flat!
· Extremely lightweight!
· There are no pools, sand, blendtextures, stairs, or anything! It's flat as can be.

I'm very sorry the map is fullbright, but I had proper lighting, VRAD was compiling it for around 30 minutes and when I ran the map there was no lighting. Sorry for the inconvenience, I might release a V2 with different textures, and lighting.

went ahead & fixed the description then. 32768 units cubed is the max. size of a source map either way. actual map size is a bit smaller than that but not by much (a couple meters in each axis) but it wouldn't compile if the brushes were too close to the edges. i'm definitely not redoing it though, this map is about to turn 7 years old lol

It's from [-16288, -16288] to [16287, 16287]. Which is definitely less than 60k units in total.

@Doliman100 ik, i had some issues if the brushes were touching or nearly touching the map border so i ended up putting it ~64 units before the map actually ended. also, are you sure you're accounting the negative axes?

Unfortunately, according to getpos and cl_showpos , this map size is only 32544x32544x32544 units.

+AndrewEathan you can't find it on the workshop because it comes with the mod Gravity Hull Designator, and yes it is infinite and no it doesn't have teleporters, I'm not really sure how it works but it's infinite

I guess it's just the same thing as this map but with teleporters to the other side.
