Firstly, it depends on if/when the combat grows on me. From what I've experienced of it so far, it felt clunky and unintuitive. But when I re-work the keybinds and accrue more experience, I may feel completely different. I do hope so.
Secondly, the price. I seldom pay full price but with the upcoming Summer sale, I'd wager a 50% discount is possible, possibly more. Even at that price, I'd be hesitant.
To go off on a tangent, I have always loved demos. Because for me, they feature a tiny no-strings-attached portion of the game to play as you see fit. Some, I played for months on end when I was younger. I used to want to get home as quickly as possible to play my AoE: I/II demos. This was a long time ago. Maybe it's just looking through time with a nostalgic lens but I kind of miss those days.
Oh and thank you
Do you think you will purchase it after trying the demo?
