Описание
Description

By default the settings on the storage shelf is set to priority Important and to accept weapons. This causes weapons to fill up your new racks, causes weapons to get dumped in the middle of the ground to deteriorate when you change stockpile options and wastes everybody’s time. This mod changes the priority to normal and makes the default storage option nothing. Now your shelves (and nutrient paste hoppers) will sit empty and unused until you specify what they should store.

A much heavier handed version of this mod that targets anything with default storage settings including mortars, sarcophaguses, biosculpters, growth pods etcetera is included in [FSF] FrozenSnowFox Tweaks.

Mod Support

Ideally I'd prefer people to kindly ask their favourite modders to avoid using default item settings or using a priority higher than normal to avoid this silly shelf issue. The shelf patch should work on the majority of mod added shelves. Shelves that do special things such as changing temperature or repairing items however will likely need their own custom patch. I looked over the files again and I think I got it this time. I realised I could rewrite the patch to check for the parentdef AdaptiveStorageBase which they all seem to reference. Alongside the other patch this should in theory catch everything.

Looks like Royal Dresser was probably missed as well. Looking at the files I'm betting a bunch more stuff was missed like the addon benches from VE Production. This is by far one of the most annoying mods to patch because there's no good way to catch it all.

Huge. Can't believe that not only do they have a default setting - they use preferred. Having to manually baby each shelf as they're being constructed so that my spoilable organs don't get put outside is so annoying.
