This are the most important initializations to help beginners making missions in the game-included editor.
There are lots of other initialzations, but this are the most importants to start mission editing. Advanced mission designers will be bored about this, but keep in mind that the younger generations didn't experienced the past ofp era. ;)

Equip weapons to units and ammo crates
In this picture we see how you equip weapons to units and ammo crates.
You can rename the "M16" with other variables, for example:

AK47
LAWLaucher
M16GL
BIZON
G36 etc..

Note: At some magazines (mostly pistols) you must add "Mag", for example: "GlockMag"
Equiping to units is only the omission of the phrase "cargo" ;)



Set Faces, Mimics, Behaviours and Identities
Place units in vehicles
Just type the initalizations in the right field. Don't forget to name the vehicle! Otherwise this won't work
You can also place the units via Trigger. In this case it's important to give the unit a name, too.
For example: player1 moveindriver t55

@pointman I am super late, but for that you can make all of those group members have a leader of another faction with 0% prob of presence to make them change their side if I don't remember bad

what if we want to make certain npc's or the player character from the civillian side became either the west, east, or the resistance side, can we tweak that with initializations as well or is that only doable through some other means?

To quickly find weapon and magazine class name use:

hint format ["%1\n\n%2", weapons player, magazines player]

no..no..i don't know what it's called,i mean the initialization name of each default weapons/items (non modded)
for example "M16","M60", "BIZONMag" (it's an item i know)
but for much rest of the items i can't figure out the name.

if you ever know some more i might need your help, by the way i found your tutorial to be useful thanks
