What is a Crime Spree?

A Crime Spree lets you and your fellow heisters go on a potentially endless Spree of heists. Potentially, but unlikely due to the modifiers your host has to chose between each heist.

This guide explains the feature and its different components.
Starting a Crime Spree
When you select the “Start Crime Spree” option from Crime.net, you can chose to start the spree at the Crime Spree Ranks 0, 20, 40 or at the rank where your last spree ended. The higher you start your Crime Spree from, the more Continental Coins you must invest to begin. You can chose to play on your own or with others. All crew members who wish to gain the benefits from the Crime Spree, are required to spend Continental Coins. You can still join the Spree without spending the coins, but won’t gain the rewards of the Spree lobby.
The base difficulty level of Crime Spree is OVERKILL difficulty, and increases gradually with the modifiers added, see below for more detail.

Continuing the spree
As long as you succeed with each heist, you can continue the Spree without investing additional Continental Coins. Each heist you complete will increase your Crime Spree Rank by a set amount depending on what heist you just played. This will in turn yield more rewards but also increase the difficulty of the following heists in the Spree. When your Crime Spree Rank reaches certain milestone you must choose a Modifier that if be active on all of the following heists in the Spree.
You can switch out your loadout and profile in the loadout screen as with any other newly started heist.

Gage Boosts and Modifiers
Modifiers
In the heist select screen, you’ll be asked to choose modifiers as the Spree progresses. Modifiers change how the next heists will play and are focused around making the Spree harder. The host of the Spree gets to choose what modifiers are added between heists.

Gage Boosts
Boosts are passive bonuses such as reload speed, ammo pickup rate and more, that the host can choose to put in the heist from the heist selection screen, or other per heist bonuses. These Boosts require an investment of Continental Coins to activate and will only remain for the selected heist.

Failing a heist
Heists can not be restarted. If you fail, you can chose to continue the Spree for an additional investment of continental coin, based on the rank of the failed Spree. Anyone who doesn’t wish to or can’t spend the additional coins, can choose to continue playing without reactivating the Spree, but won’t gain the crime spree rewards. Quitting the game at any point during the heist will also result in a failure.

Rewards
The more heists you successfully complete without failing a heist, the bigger reward bonus you will accumulate. The rewards for a Spree consists of cash, XP, loot and continental coins based on the Crime Spree Rank on the heist that you just played and the bonus you will build the longer you spree gets.

You can collect reward in the lobby screen, once you fail your CS or simply decide to end it. Option should be present at the top of the screen

You both need to have started the CS, and then start a CS lobby. If one player has higher CS level, he wont be getting rewards untill hosts level is higher or equal

Officially, it does not. It is still enchanced overkill all along, but at some points (cant really tell you when) the difficulty is proportional

Risk vs Reward
Or if you want a steady pace with minimized risk, go with what you feel you can do
