@TrapGod: True. Story, characters, world, atmosphere... the Witcher III nailed it completely in nearly all areas. Only the combat system is a bit average in the end :D

@Fr0st_: Symphony of the Night and the following Castlevania titles (the good old Metroidvanias, I especially loved Circle of the Moon and Portrait of Ruin) were definitely among the best games I ever played. I just love this dark style, the combat system, the exploration, the RPG parts... ah it was so much fun visiting Dracula's Castle. :D And Dark Souls... nothing more needs to be said. Epicness in its purest form :P
@smohak™: Underground 2 was epic for sure but somehow I prefer MW over U2. Tuning vs. chased by cops... I guess it's personal preference in the end. :D

@Maverick: Some of the titles you mentioned were also close on my list. Metroid Prime I and II were amazing, same with Super Mario Sunshine and Starfox Adventures on the GC. Legacy of Kain: SR... oh my, sweet nostalgia :D
