Translations and Basic Guide
-This game and the sequel Barbarossa

Honestly i hate Hebereke at the first time playing the game.
Until the sequel arrived, Barbarossa. It explains well the game mechanics than Hebereke.
Hitting a unit multiple times for no damage was absolutely annoying at Hebereke, thanks to Barbarossa, it explains whay happened. I hope Barbarossa also released to Steam, definetely buy if the price is not too high.

Barbarossa has better map view, stealth mechanic, and tech tree. You can't fire after moving with AT gun, artillery, heavy machine gun, and riflemen. If stated it can't move after firing, you must wait a full turn until the unit could move again.

It also has better voice and music quality. Anastasia's voice at Barbarossa is absolutely cute.
Barbarossa however is 18+ game, i also hope it would arrive at steam as is. It is on/off-able at the start of the game.

Some translations
Vodka is currency
Skill point is given 1 each completing a story
CG is locked for the free version

How to upgrade your equipment
1. Increase your tech level, it will open new weapons at shop (Research).
2. Purchase weapon from shop (buy weapon)
3. Open menu, then Equip

Skill point is needed to make your unique character learn a new skill

If you need extra medal (your 2nd slot equipment), or Vodka, feel free to use training battle.
It is the past missions. Vodka gain is absolutely lower than clearing a story chapter, but the exp gain, and medal are precious.

What inside the menu

Note that unit with potrait such as Anastasia here are unique units.
Unique unit have better stat, can be equipped with special equipments, and has more skills.
They also doesn't share exp with generic unit at the same type.
i.e. Anastasia is tank unit, she won't share her exp with generic tank unit nor another unique tank unit.

While the other unit depicted only with red banner are generic units.
Generic units shares exp each other, so if one strom trooper gain a level, it applies to the whole map.

- Game play

------

Base

Base is the most important thing at your game.
Your base could attain level as they kill enemy units by attack, or airstrike.
You can deploy new units at the base by selecting Skills (スキル)
At the beginning of turn, if you heard roaring radiator engine, you could also issue airstrike from the skill button. It is game changing attack.
And also different thing from Barbarossa, you could issue base`s skill right after you capture it.

Deploy points

You need those to deploy a unit from base. How much your gain per turn is stated at the mission briefing. i.e. if stated 2 per turn, you might wait for 2 turns to buy 4 cost artillery piece. There also max unit cap alotted per mission. Deployment cost will increase if you deploy multiple units at the same type.

Stealth

The reason why your first attacks usually miss.
Stealth is not camo, it is camo modified by terrain.
Stealth is probably what make this game unique to another TBS like SRW.
Camo stated at your unit status is your stealth at plains.
For example, an infantry has 70 camo, it will has maximum of...
70 at plains, 105 at town, 87 at sandbag, 150 at forest, and 35 (half) at road.
If your unit current (not maximum) stealth rating is lower than enemy current scout rating, it will be discovered, shown as detected (look at my picture).

Is it possible to move an infantry 3 tiles at front of enemy tank and undetected ? Yes. Just be sure to check enemy scout rating.

How to reduce your enemy stealth rating ?
1. By using skill
2. By attacking it, or let them attack you.
You could use area attack to reduce enemy stealth rating over an area.

How to replenish your stealth rating ?
1. By using skill
2. By selecting standby, not attacking at this turn, or moving.

Note that sniper rifle (狙撃銃) will only deplete a tiny bit of stealth after an attack.

Hitting a unit

The enemy current stealth point reducing your probability to hit.
Refer how to reduce stealth rating above.
Facing, and unit level difference also determines hit probability.

Hit probability is one thing, hitting itself has more things, as it would determine how much your shell hits when it hits. Only grazing damage, hitting armor, or critical.
Depends on how exposed the target, it will recieve more hit (larger damage). Probably only storm trooper hand-to-hand combat is different, they recieved huge bonus.
Storm trooper is the guy wearing red cap, it will throw grenade at point blank. Some units equipped with hand-to-hand capable weapon also could do this.

In regard to this, it is advisable to always move, or standby your unit to replenish its stealth rating. A unit with zero stealth would get incredible hits from anything. This makes retreating a unit useful at this game. Where ? You could heal your unit by moving it right next to your base.

River

Be careful when you need to cross a river. Unit at river got no defensive bonus whatsoever from the terrain and they can only move a square per turn. A base next to a river is the hardest to take over since the defensive units could easy picking any unit trying to cross over it.

Thanks for the Guide! :O

I'd like to see an 18+ patch on Steam, or and English 18+ version on DLSITE. =~=;
