I wouldn't say it's kiddy stuff. It's genuinely entertaining and decently written. I've found myself falling in love with each character as they've each got their quirks. I've replayed it like five times, now trying to get every ending and I've got about seven-ish more rounds to go if I want every good ending, double that if I want to put myself through the bad ones for the sake of achievements.
