This guide with help you along the way of becoming a full NeX National member.
We have a few things that you should know about the community before we go into the requirements to be a part of it.

💭 It all started in 2008 under the alias "The BoX Zombies" utilizing the Xbox Live community.
We were a small group of gamers, no more than four or five, who loved to play competitive together.

We decided to shed our pleb, console peasant, skin, in search of new land of opportunity; The Master-race Dream in 2011. Upon our arival to Steam, we switched from a competitive group to entirely casual; boasting a new and improved ranking system over our last that included much less power to higher ranks.


In 2015, the members collaboratively came together at one of our Monthly Meetings to vote in poll on a renaming of the community. It was close, but NeX National won and we have been representing our alias with pride ever since.

Now-a-days, our community is for the members, by the members.
Changes to the group are suggested, and if interest is shown, the change is taken to poll at our Monthly Meeting where the members then vote on whether or not the change should be implemented. The same goes for member promotion, kicks, bans, etc.
Administrative members are striped of their voting rights when they are accepted to be promoted to avoid corruption in power.

• 📌 You Must Have an Account and a NeX National Tag in Your Steam and Discord Names
  After you are accepted to become a member of NeX National, you must have a name that involves NeX in the manner of, "NeXExample", with the
  "NeX" stamp first, then whatever you like after.
  
  
  
  To change your Steam and Discord name:
  • Click "Steam" at the top left of the Steam interface and click "Settings".
    
  • Navigate to the "Friends" tab and there you will be able to edit your Steam Name.
    
  • To get the "NeX" stamp, copy and paste it.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
  • For Discord, click the cog wheel at the bottom right labeled : "User Settings".
    
  • Click the username box and type in your chosen NeX National handle.
  
  
  Make sure to verify both your Discord and Steam accounts, this community values its security, and all members of the community have verified accounts on both platforms with no prior VAC bans. Downloading Steam, as well as Discord is a must and this goes without saying.

• 📌 You Must Subscribe to all "Sub-Forum" Discussions
  To do this, go to our discussions, and on the right you will see the list of "Sub-Forums". To subscribe, click the grey button above the sub-forum list saying "Subscribe to Forum". Please do this for each "Sub-Forum". (General, Ranks, Polls, etc). Doing this will notify you every time a new discussion is created.
  
  

• 📌 You Must Have Every Member Added
  Here is a full list of our members
  Any that you already have added will have a 'buddy' icon on their name slot.
  
  

• 📌 You Must Feature NeX National on Your Steam Profile
  After you are invited to the groups, please make sure to feature NeX National on your profile. You can do this by selecting edit profile on your personal page, and select NeX National as your "Primary Group".
