@Mr. Sanity, sure, but the audience has grown massively. StarCraft used to be one of the top selling games at a few mill units sold. Now there are hundred of millions of players on certain games.

There's also the fact that games have cost the same since the 80s, if you were to convert $60 in 1980 to today's dollars, it comes out to somewhere over $100, It's no wonder game companies are stretched so thin these days, because we are giving them what would have been equivalent to $10 back in the day while at the same time expecting so much more. :steamsalty:

Yup. And this isn't crazy talk. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is half a book for a book's price. Where's the value in that?
