About the model

This model has about 1807 tris and a 2048x512 texture, with a diffuse, shadow, normal, illumination, color and specularmap.This model has a custom LoD, which is about 66 tris with a 512x128 texture, with a diffuse, color, specular, and illumination map.

If you want this building added to your RICO buildings, add it in the settings menu, under growables. I recommend using the realistic population mod, this will calculate the amount of occupants in the building.


About the building
S. H. Kress & Co. was the trading name of a chain of "five and dime" retail department stores in the United States, established by Samuel Henry Kress, which operated from 1896 to 1981. In the first half of the 20th century, there were Kress stores with ornamented architecture on "Main Street" in hundreds of cities and towns.

The Kress building in Wichita is now called the Kress Energy Center. This Kress Building is considered the best example of neo-gothic commercial architecture in Wichita. It is listed on city, state, and national registers of historic places.
