Player vs Player (PvP) in Hurtworld is brilliantly exciting and well balanced. Even as a relative fresh spawn you have access to weapons and tools to defend yourself against higher tier geared players.
Especially once you craft a bow for yourself you will be able to compete against most players and your skill and handling will always determine if you win or loose in an engagement against another player.

This clip shows a nice compilation of player vs player fights where I even win against several enemies in a row or in direct confrontation against 2 players (1v2) and reach its finals when I force door to another players base.

It will be a shocking moment when the other players is capable of getting his base back (which my first conclusion was that he cheated) and afterwards the struggle of trying to obtain it back and capture it as a new outpost.
