A. OVERVIEW
Hello and welcome to this short but hopefully helpful guide to all ship levels in Dark Matter. I decided to make this guide because while the game is fairly easy to play, navigation can be confusing in places - especially where you have to back-track to an area you cannot progress from.

Bear in mind that while the game can be finished; it was not released in its envisioned completeness. Also note that the schematics below for each level may not be totally complete but, they should possess enough information to help you progress when and where you may lose orientation.

Each section corresponds to a level of the ship and while the first and last few levels will only require one visitation, the larger levels may require two or more vists to complete entirely.

Also to help out with 100% completion, included in each section are the achievements that can be attained in them or at least where I obtained them.

*** PLEASE NOTE - MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD ***

Ship Schematics
The Earth ship Endeavour consists of 15 compartments (levels) which can be seen in the following ship wide schematic:

Layout Legend
Identification of where equipment, items and objectives can be found across the ship Endeavour can be seen in the following legend:

NOTE: Probably the weakest part of the guide is that it doesnt show where heavy crawlers are. These tougher opponents will stop you from progressing until you get the blueprint that does greater damage and/or the assault rifle. Just check which areas you havent quite explored on your own level maps against these ones to get some idea of where you havent travelled to yet.

Good luck!
B. TUTORIAL
TBD

Good Girl
Complete the training level all the way through to the exit portal.

Skipping School
Skip the training level by exiting through the very first portal.
01. MEDBAY

* PLEASE NOTE: That all exits are colour coded to the area they will lead to.

So leaving Medbay will take you to the Security level. The exit text in this level (Medbay) is coloured red so go to the Security section of this guide and look for the red coloured text point to the Medbay level to see where you arrive.
02. SECURITY

First Ooze
Kill your first Scavenger.
03. MANUFACTURING
04. TUNNELS

Boomsticked
Collect the Shotgun.

Unfortunate survivor
Collect the full set of N. Fortunate logs.

Ensign CrawlerBane
Kill 50 crawlers, of any description.

[CREDIT: Used Ensign Crawlerbane Achievement Steam Guide By Steppenwolf, to verify]

* Counter seems bugged. Go to the corridor where the shotgun is located, left of the elevator. There is a crawler spawner on the wall which doesnt create heavy crawlers. I needed 40 kills here to trigger the achievement. Despite being at the very end of my playthrough.
05. PROCESS CONTROL
06. BREAKER ROOM 1
07. BREAKER ROOM 2

Big Spaceship Lights
Enable power in the Process Control level.

* If like me you need to get the assault rifle to get past the heavy crawler blocking your way to ENG LVL 2 KEY, then you may end up only triggering this achievement once you activate Breaker 2. Whichever breaker you toggle last will get you this achievement.

Dance Little Flames, Dance
Spread fire to 5 enemies in under 20 seconds.

* I got this after getting the fire ammo blueprint and just after turning on the Breaker 2 switch at a crawler spawnwall/point where there were two or three patroling just before it. Save your game at the Omega 13 console just above so If you are not fast enough you can reload and try again. It should be quite easy though.
08. BREAKER ROOM 3
09. AFT ARMORY

My little friend says hello
Collect the Assault Rifle.
10. ENGINEERING BAY (2)

Mad Engineer
Collect the full set of F. Magnusson logs.

Firestarter. twisted Firestarter
Collect the fire ammo blueprint.
11. PROCESS STATION

* Turn on the Purge System to activate secondary objective. There are six hatches that need to be closed using the switches next to them. The map does not always list the objectives or show them on the mini-map.

** Once the Samurai scavenger has been dealt with in the Core Shaft level you can return to the train area and fast travel to Engineering Station (aka Bay (1))
12. CORE SHAFT
**IMPORTANT NOTE: *Needs verifying.* There is a log at the start of this area called 'clean up'. (Credit: Zen (UK))

A Bigger, Better, Scarier rat
Kill the Samurai thats wrecking the maintenance power conduit.

* Killing the Samurai Scavenger will complete the Clear Core objective and allow fast travel from the Process Station.

Ensign Livingstone I Presume
Kill an Exploder, a Baby Crawler, a Crawler, a Big Cousin, a Seeker and a Samurai.

* Should unlock after you kill the Samurai scavenger.
13. ENGINEERING STATION [a.k.a BAY (1)]
14. ROTTEN CORE

The Bunny o' War
Collect the Grenade Launcher

Semper Fodder
Collect the full set of B. Kowicz logs.

Get off my Ship!
Kill the Scavenger Queen.
15. BIOLABS

Its Time for Science
Reach the laboratories hub.
C. THE END
And thus in a somewhat anti-climatic manner the journey ends here. You should hopefully have enough details to complete the game and gain all the achievements BUT the guide doesnt hold your hand. It has been designed merely to show you where all important stuff can be found as you try to navigate the sometimes confusing labyrinth of the Endeavour.

Though it is mostly complete there may be a few omissions or errors contained within these maps. If you spot one please let me know in the comments below and Ill try to update any that need doing.

Thank you for reading this [my second Steam] guide, I hope it was of help to anyone who was stuck and was thinking about restarting the game like I did!

Cheerio.

Hey, hows it going? Yep I did have all the logs at that point. It didnt occur to me to have to point that out or it wasnt in my todo lost when I wrote the guide. Ive added a note to point that out. Also added a note for the missing. Credit to you. Thanks. Glad you found it of use. (Before they removed their post)

Np

I don't have the game anymore, got revoked so i can't check. But from memory :
-The Supply Closet log is on rightmost end of the map, just east of where is it drawn on the screenshot, on top of the ladder.
-The minimap in process station is right under the drawn blue line of the closed door, and "north west" of the drawn red line, making it indeed under the respawn station.
Not really a big deal anyway, the maps were helpful.

Thanks for the feedback and apologises for the delay.
For breaker room 1 there are no logs on that map in this guide? Can you be clearer? Do you mean another room? Which log is it?
Ive uploaded an updated Process Room map. Ive taken the first elevator to mean the top one of the two and placed the minimap x beneath the omega 13 console near that. Is this correct?
Baron iGnome 10 May, 2019 @ 8:48am
Few mistakes here and there.
On the Process Station map, the minimap console is actually in the tunnel under the omega 13 console, near the first elevator shaft, north west of the map.
On Breaker Room 1, the log pad is on the far right end of the tunnel where it is drawn on your map.
Other than that, great guide.
