The most important weapons you will need are Mad Milk, and Fan O' War, Primaries will be introduced later; you can get these in multiple ways, Trading, Waiting to get it in a drop, or buy it / test it from the Mann Co. Store, Which i HIGHLY Recommend you dont do. To buy em both off of Scrap.tf would be a scrap. Less than buying off of someone or the mann co. store. Anyways, using these weapons will help the team in many ways, Mad Milk can heal you, and your team if you throw it at bots, i suggest you buy the -35% slower move speed upgrade on milk so when the milk is thrown on bots, the bots go slower, making sure the bomb doesnt get to the hatch as quickly. The Fan O' War is helpful for defeating giant robots, when you hit one, it applies Mini-Crits on it, helping you and the team kill the bot quicker. *Note, Mini-Crits can only be applied on one bot at a time.

If the bomb is near the hatch, and you have a medic, i suggest using the Crit-A-Cola, Force-A-Nature, and Wrap Assassin or Sandman. If you use the Crit A Cola with Force-a-Nature, it can knock back normal sized robots from the hatch, also dealing damage, if you use the Sandman, you can stun AND knock the bots back. If you dont have a medic, i suggest using the mad milk instead of Crit A Cola, and stock up on ubercharge canteens or crit canteens. Fan O' War can also be helpful, but not as much if it was on the offensive measure, which i will be getting into right now.

If you still have the bomb stuck at the front, Use Milk, Scattergun, and Fan O War, these are the most common weapons used in mvm for scout, and the most offensive, and defensive, its a whole game changer when a scout comes into an mvm server, besides during Smissmas. Everyone knows why. But anyways, there isnt really much about offensive besides keeping the bots away from the hatch. Just always keep your gun loaded and you should, i quote "SHOULD" be fine if you have good aim. But if you dont, try to somewhat get near the bot so you can deal as much damage as you can when you DO hit.

Scouts weren't really made to go after tanks, they are more of a support class, like medic. But if there arent any bots around, and everyone is focused on the tank(s), attack it / them, having max damage, fire rate, and reload rate helps, even if you dont have much max ammo, it can still help doing a critload, get it, HARDEHAR STUPID ♥♥♥♥♥ JOKE , anyways, going after tanks isnt the scouts prime directive, so dont act like you are a magnet. But like i said, if there arent any bots around, besides spies, watch out for those. Try to stay on top of the tank(s), so you can avoid any spies; Go after the tank(s).

Primary weapons are all the same, the scattergun would probably be the best to go with unless you can get behind bots using the back scatter, besides that, id suggest you use the scattergun if you are on a offensive or defensive measure. The Shortstop may reload quicker, and have reloads entire clip, but it deals much less dps when close range. The Force-A-Nature may shoot faster and reload entire clip and also have knockback against bots/players, but you have to be RIGHT in their face to do it, risking your life. The Soda Popper is just, no, NONONOOO GOD Baby face blaster is just pointless now, you lose speed when you double jump and get damaged so never use that thing.
