Oh, well the idea to make a mascot came from ZONE's own mascot, Zone-Tan. Not that I'm a huge consumer of theirs, but I liked the mascot idea. As for the looks, I just thought a Femscout with a vaguely punk-rock getup would suit the channel's TF2 action oriented content. Oh, and green is my favourite colour ;P
Oh, the paint can? That came with the Black Mesa content pack, it's in props_junk/spraycan.mdl. I just edited the material and texture to change the label and give it a silvery cubemap on the metal parts.
