1. Know your heists! - If you do not know the heist, ask the host for help, or read up on the heist prior. Please know that not all players are helpful.
   
2. Always listen to the host. - He may do things differently then you're use to, but that's ok. We all need XP, Cash, & Cards.
   
3. Help your team! - If a member goes down, help them back up! Fix drills, etc!
   
4. Come prepared. - Always have the appropriate gear/weapons/skills/perk deck to finish a heist successfully.
   
5. Have "Stealth Courtesy". - If a heist is stealthable, ask before joining if it's stealth/loud. If it's in stealth, make sure you ask permission to connect so you don't blow all of their hard work done prior to you joining.
   
6. Possessing a VAC Ban. - Some players don't like taking the risk of you being cheater.
   
7. Hold your own weight. - Do not be a burden on your team. We all were rusty once and that's ok. You may avoid issues by hosting your own game until you get better.
   
8. Do not troll! - You may think it's funny to ruin someone else's game, but it will earn you a crappy reputation very quickly. People notice. People remember.
   
9. Have an appropriate Steam name. - If your name is insensitive, if your name has 20+ characters, or if your name is filled with slurs, change it or host your own game.
   
10. Do not cheat! - Fraudulently getting yourself to high infamy levels or having unlimited skill points don't get unnoticed. You will get kicked. Remember it's never too late to stop cheating, and becoming a better player.
    
11. Do not use "frowned-upon" mods. - This varies from player to player, but to get an idea, avoid mods that give you a noticeable unfair advantage. Examples - No Pager Drops, Auto-Repair Drills, 3 Deployables, etc.
    
12. Do not spam! - This includes spamming chat and spamming over the microphone.
    
13. Control your excitement. - Congrats! You just got an infamous mask/material/patern, but you do not need to keep talking about it for 15+ mins. We understand you are happy.
    
14. Limit your voice chat while intoxicated. - Some people like to drink or experiment with "leafy greens" and that's your choice. Just don't ruin other people's games by telling us how drunk off your acorns you are.
    
15. Choose the appropriate heist difficulty. - Not everyone is ready for Mayhem, Deathwish & Death Sentence, and that's ok. Save these difficulties for when you reach the higher levels &/or for when your heisting skills greatly increase.
    
16. Do not waste mission critical assets! - Do not waste map placed bodybags, keycards, or etc. on things that are unnessary or that may doom the heist from a completion.
    
17. Have appropriate Deployable placement. - Placing ammo bags, doctor bags, or etc. in reachable & covered positions will be much more useful to the team, then something placed out of reach or in a dangerous position.
    
18. Have "Ears". - It's 2016 (now 2022), and there is absolutely no excuse for not having a headset (headphones, ear buds, etc.). Having "Ears" will ensure you always know what is going on in a heist. If you don't have a pair, you can find them on Amazon for under $10 USD.
    
19. Don't harrass other players. - Nobody wants to be bothered about what fandom you are apart of (My Little Pony, furries, etc.) nor do they want bullied into wearing your favorite or non-favorite politician mask. Be kind & curious, always.
    
20. Be of appropriate Level(s). - Normal (Newbies 0-10) - Hard (Newbies - 15-30) - Very Hard (Rookies - 30-45) - Overkill (Average Joes - 45-60) - Mayhem (Pros - 60-75 + Infamy) Death Wish (Pros - 75-100 + Infamy) Death Sentence (Experts - 100 + 5 Levels of Infamy). Some exceptions can be made for certain stealth heists.
    
21. Do not brag/boast. - Certain content (including masks, higher infamy levels, and even the Scarface Heist) are hard to come by. You can discuss these without having to brag and annoy other players.
    
22. Avoid disconnecting after joining. - If you plan on joining a heist, make sure you intend on staying to the finish. The only exception is if you join a "sinking ship" without prior knowledge. Nobody wants to play a heist doomed to fail because of unskilled or unprepared players.
    
23. Watch your fire! - If you choose to bring explosives of any sort to a heist, make sure you do it safely. Call it our, or wait until the coast is clear. Nothing is worse then going down from a careless teammate.

Also....It is important to remember that not all hosts are welcoming. You may get kicked for being a low level, having a private Steam profile, or just because. It's ok, just find a new game with a better host. I also highly recommend you not add a host that has just kicked you. This will just cause more problems. Some people are just acornbusters.

• Using A Weapon Skin - This is no longer a reason to get kicked, and has been fixed by the Devs, and now are enjoyed by many players.

Weapon Skins used to be frowned upon due to them being microtransactions.
