How best to control the game
There are many control options for this game.
  • The mouse
  • Arrow keys
  • A & D
  • A touchscreen
  • A gamepad/controller

But which one of these is best?

Since you have two hands and only 2 keys to press, it is best to use one hand for each key.

It is best to use the arrow keys as they are not cluttered by other keys.

Using your Index finger on both hand, place them over the left and right arrows so you feel like spider man.

Now, get going!

It should be much easier to control the game this way.
How to know when to switch sides.
Branches "Fall" from both sides of the tree, spam left or right until a branch lays just above your head, then switch. At first, this may seem harsh since you could of switched before this, but as time goes on, youll notice that sometimes its the only option.
Follow this rule and youll never get hit by a branch by swapping to soon
What character should I play?
Santa, since he gives a couple of other characters for hitting 450 points. after youve done that, always choose the hardest to earn character that you own, it may scare your opponent and make them fail from nerves.

I use both the arrow keys and A+D. It takes some time to get it done without killing yourself, but you are alot faster in the long run.
Instead of pressing A five times in a row, i press: A, left, A, left, A
Try it ;)

I use middle fingers never the less, but maybe also because I got used to it, never inverting my mouse buttons like I was "supposed to" ... also it's true there are no other keys disturbing you, but the position of J & K for me can be quite intriguing as well, gladly they put those 2 buttons in as well (and since J, like F has that small stand out area there, you can't really be mistaken even if you moved your hands)

oh and, yes.. some Bruce Tree tried to look baddy on me, but my whatever tiny character I used made him feel overconfident maybe, so you never know what "psychology" to apply first?
