Report a translation problem
I don't know if your problem is related, but it might be. If so, do you have any other screen recording software you could try? If you have a modern Nvidia card, that comes with some Shadow recording thingy. Additionally you could download the demo of Bandicam to test if that works in either of the two recording modes. It's usable for recording up to 10 minutes I think (but it puts a watermark on it).
Nothing to lose by trying it (but something to lose if you decide to buy it). It comes highly recommended by me, and I should know, I'm highly opinionated!
