Proper Ice Belt in Vapour Stream System - DeVries

COMPATIBLE WITH 4.00 / 4.10+ HOME OF LIGHT

Hey Everyone!

Mod is savegame compatible and can be removed / added anytime.

Game version needed: 4.00 / 4.10+ - using it in any older build may cause errors!

Ice asteroids distribution in Molten Archon in DeVries is really strange. They happen in small clusters and very scattered all over the place.

With the current vanilla mining script, it makes mining ships waste a lot of time slowboating to many different locations doing nothing.

I have always liked far-away Vapor Stream system location, in my opinion it makes perfect locale for the ice-oriented operation - being in a constant shadow of the huge planet that blocks the sun.

Mod changes:
  • adds Proper Ice Belt with nebula in the Vapor Stream system in DeVries.
  • Makes it much easier for players, who would like to run ice-oriented ops, without the need to wander all over the sector.

Non-Nebula version:

For better framerates, or if you don't like the nebula effect, please use this version of the mod.

Subscribe only to one, not both!

Hello Haribo, this one should still be OK to run, as it modifies code that rarely changes. In any case it should be easy to remove it should it not be compatible.

Thanks for the report SIlverOre, that is the first report of this strange behavior. I will have a look. but it is likely that there is something wrong with your save as the whole belt itself does not have an ability to despawn entirely after being already placed.
