The "classic" way to fill up the gauge should pretty much hit a roadblock once you get to alpha #30 or so, because I recently had a really good game (alpha #31) where I got quite lucky and I almost got to the end whilst stacking sentiment, but I still had to use the necklace. The amount I had would have been enough for #27, so I would say that ~#30 is the hard limit on non-necklace runs.
Good job with the guide, as I've reached the same strategies by experimenting, though the high number screenshots at the end kind of feel like pointless bragging. I usually just hit the necklace once I get the required sentiment.
instead of pinguin and heart i would suggest to take teddy and kitten, or teddy and the pink flower (which eats all affection on the grid)... but u need good 4kind prebuild skills ... and for sure high affection at beggining of round ... anyway thx for input
