2- It the last enemy alive dies from Ludin's ability or Rain of Arrows, you get to act first in the next phase of the War.
Also (if you can take it) allow dredge warriors to summon additional guys, as they are weak and it's extra renown! If you are going for the extra battle in a war, leave a guy with 1 break alive, reposition to the centre, and rest a few turns to recover willpower. Finish the last guy with ludin if he on the field, next to others, for the extra willpower
Ludin is excellent against archers as they run and take damage, or combined with a strongarm knockback like Griss or Iver. Ludin can also singlehandedly take on a great deal of enemies if a battle is going badly. 1 ludin against 3 enemies means with the right movement he can impale and move out of range, enemies will give chase and die. Knockback into Rain of arrows is also good.
