This is my favorite non-Novaya Russia creation.

The Hyena is a salvage ship. It has four arms extending from the front that can be used to catch and lock onto objects or ship hulls, and it has enough power thanks to its industrial and shrike engines to haul what it finds back to base with no issues. All components are located in easy-to-reach positions for repair, and the ship was specificall designed to be able to withstand hitting anything--and I've tested this against other small ships, big ships, stations, and asteroids--and fly away with minimal effect on its ability to move around. It's extremely durable.
