YEAR 1

Before you do anything in the game, press "esc" then enter the options.
Adjust the movement mode setting from "Camera Relative" To "Tank Controls".
NOTE: IF YOU WANT TO COMPLETE THIS ACHIEVEMENT YOU'LL HAVE TO PLAY THE ENTIRE GAME WITH THIS ON.

Go to Eva. She's sitting at her desk and talk to her about the past and ask how she got stuck in the Land of the dead.

Use Eva's hole punch! (Just punch it without the card in your hands.)

Go down to the garage and chat with Glottis about his purpose in this land.
Tip: Do this before asking him to become your driver!

Go outside The department of death and keep chatting with the clown until you can scare him so he pops a balloon.

When you arrive in the Land of the living, Walk up to the three people in the cafeteria and interact with them, it will "scare" them!

After breaking the pneumatic tubing machine, ask Brennis how he got into the machine as he's repairing it.

Keep asking Meche if she's done something bad during her lifetime.

When in the LSA headquarters. Talk to Salvador about his plot to bring down The Department of Death.

When in the LSA headquarters. Chat with Eva about her involvement in the LSA.

When you climb into Domino's office, try cracking his computer password a bunch of times until Manny tries to type in "Arrogant Fraud".

Before climbing onto the rooftop to get the bird eggs for Salvador. Go back to the clown and get a "Robert Frost" balloon animal. Then go to the rooftop, take the balloon in your hands and try to scare off the birds by running towards the birds and twisting it. Manny should shout "Run you pigeons! It's Robert Frost!"

When you get to the tree farm in the petrified forest, chat with glottis about the farm after he brings out the wheelbarrow.

When you arrive in Rubacava. Chat with Celso about getting a job.

After Velasco drags you out of the water in Rubacava. Go back down the stairs to Glottis and Velasco and chat with him about his eyepatch

Complete the first year in Grim Fandango!

YEAR 2

Pick up Salvadors letters on Manny's desk in Rubacava and Read ALL of them!

Go downstaris, talk to Glottis and talk about leaving town.

Go to your bar and pick up the bottle of Marillo de Oro and have a sip.

Go down to the roulette tables and ask Chowchilla Charlie for a passport.

"Listen" to Lupé as she explains her new wardrobe system.

After chatting with Velasco keep walking down the dock and look upon the moon, examine/interact with it and Manny will start telling a poem.

While in The Blue Casket. Ask Olivia to read a bunch of poems, then read one of your own and then ask her to read a poem again. She should read YOUR poem and recieve a better reaction from the audience. She then returns to you and she finishes of by saying "Consider it an homage".

Get Carla to "Stripsearch" you. When you get in the backroom you must listen to her whole story until she starts crying, THEN ask her for the metal detector.
NOTE: IF YOU DONT MAKE HER CRY YOU WONT GET THE ACHIEVEMENT!

Simply chat with Terry before giving him the book.

Go to the mourge and chat with Membrillo.

Go to Maximino's office and have a chat with him
NOTE: It's very easy to miss this one, because you can finish the game without doing this part. But when you first enter the High rollers lounge, walk past the kitchen and when the camera angle changes you should see a big triangular black door. That's the entrance to Maximino's office!

Ask Verago to come your lawyer. Then Just keep telling him that he's the best etc.

Head into the kitchen and chat with Aitor. Ask him to take you down to the wine cellar.

Bring the "Rusty Anchor" note to Glottis as he's playing the piano and he will think it's a request. Then just listen to his song!
NOTE: DON'T Give glottis the pass to the High Rollers Lounge before doing this! He wont be back.

After freeing Terry from prison, go back to the docks and you will see the bees chanting. Just stand next to them and start chanting along with them until they start chanting for you.
NOTE: You have to complete the WHOLE chant to get this achievement, it takes a couple of tries but you'll get it eventually.

Complete year 2 in Grim Fandango!

YEAR 3

Alot of talking achievement in this part of the game.

Wait for Chepito to walk over to you and then chat with him.

Keep chatting with the Angelitos until you bring something up(Their parents) that makes them cry.

Go into Meche's office and try to explain yourself to her.

Enter Domino's office and ask him where you are and why you're there.

Go outside to the coral mine and ask Chepito about his "drill"

When you're having a showdown with Domino on the back of his submarine. Bring out your scythe and keep walking towards him a buch of times. Just keep walking back towards him and get beat up 5-7 times until he ask you to stop showing off!
NOTE: BE CAREFUL NOT TO HIT THE EYE BEFORE GETTING THIS ACHIEVEMENT! WHEN THE SUBMARINE GOES DOWN THERES NO GOING BACK! (Unless you save your game just before the "fight".)

Complete year 3 in Grim Fandango!

YEAR 4

Head into the train station and you should see Chepito walking in circles in a small fountain. Go over there and ask what he's doing.

Go towards the entrance to The Land of eternal rest and interact with it (The entrance we see Chepito heading into after we talk to him.)

Go down the stairs from the train station and you will see a coffin on the ground. Open it and an old friend pops out!

Chat with the mechanics that are taking care of Glottis, they should mention his size.

When you return to Rubacava in year 4, go back to the lighthouse where Lola was sprouted.

After you've frozen the gel on the floor. Take a look at the Bonewagoon from the side and interact/examine it! Manny will make an explosive joke about it.
NOTE: YOU NEED TO DO THIS BEFORE YOU DISABLE THE BOMB ON IT!

When you're back in the LSA headquarters in year 4. Interact with the radio on the table.

Congratulations! You've completed Grim Fandango!

Fairly certain that's just a Playstation trophy.
It's not an achievement here on Steam. I've got all achievements except apparently "That's Not Funny" and "Oh Rusty Anchor", and Steam reports 2 hidden achievements for me.

How do I get the final Achievement "Number Nine Ticket?" I've unlocked every other achievement in the game, so it should be working, but it isn't giving it to me!!! I've even looked up guides online on getting it, and apparently it's a little buggy, but what do I do??

NOTE: Year 2 Achievement: "Oh, yeah, I can take you down" -- where you convince Aitor (the big guy who rolls a barrel into the kitchen) to open the elevator for you -- is MISSABLE. If you don't talk to him after the first scene where he walks by, you won't be able to catch him again.

@rogermorse - guessing that by now you've figured the tank control thing out, but in my experience, i used mouse throughout game, but with tank controls enabled in Options, & 'The Right Way' dropped normally during closing part of game - Year 4. Cheers

Hey guys, about the 'tank control' achievement....In any case I find it better with tank controls, but I think I will play this on my tablet and the game with touch controls is great. Will it void the achievement? Basically it would be like playing point/click with the mouse instead of moving with the arrows.....as long as the tank controls are enabled in the settings, will it be ok to use the mouse?
