Retro AR15 pack PROPS

Описание
THESE ARE JUST PROPS. THEY ARE NOT USABLE WEAPONS.

Looking for a pack of tricked out, railed-up tactical AR15 variants? Then take your poor taste in firearms elsewhere, because this is a strictly rail-free zone.

This model pack contains ten oldschool AR15 variants with more bodygroups than anyone could ever possibly want, a bonemergeable M203 with bodygroups, and a set of bayonets with sheathes and magazine props to go with them.

Not only does this pack include some of the most well-known retro AR15 variants such as the M16A1, M16A2 and the XM177E2, but it also includes some really obscure, weird ones that either never made it past the prototype stage, or were just not used all that prominently, such as the Model 608 survival rifle, the M231 Firing Port Weapon, and the Model 605 'carbine'.

You will need the bonemerge tool to attach the M203.

Full contents list:

Colt Model 604 rifle
M16A1 rifle
M16A2 rifle
Colt Model 653 carbine
Colt Model 727 carbine
Colt Model 607 carbine (Includes both long and short grip versions)
Colt Model 608 survival rifle
Colt Model 635 9mm SMG
Colt Model 231 Firing Port Weapon
XM177E2 carbine
20 and 30 round STANAG magazines
200 round Beta C-Mag
25 and 32 round 9mm magazines
40mm grenade
5.56x45mm NATO cartridge
9x19mm cartridge
M7 bayonet
Sheathed M7 bayonet
M9 bayonet
Sheathed M9 bayonet
M203 grenade launcher

In addition to more bodygroups than anyone is ever likely to use, all the parts you could ever want to move or pose are rigged for use with the joint tool, including the sling loops, fire selector and bolt catch. If it moves on the real thing, you can probably move it on these models. The M203 is also fully rigged and bodygrouped, and can be attached to the weapons using the bonemerge tool. A 4x20 magnification Colt scope is available for every weapon, and everything that can mount a bayonet has both the M7 and M9 as options, With the most appropriate one for the period the rifle was used in as the first bodygroup. The weapons that can accept the M203 grenade launcher feature bodygroups for use with them, including M203 heatshields and grenade launcher sights on the rifles, and removed lower handguards and front sling loops on the carbines.

All of the magazine props have bodygrouped bullets, the 20rd STANAG has bodygroups for a jungle taped second magazine, and the 40mm grenade has bodygroups to remove the projectile/casing for use in flight or ejecting from the launcher.

Multiple weapons include bodygroups to create other retro AR15 variants: The Model 604 can be turned into a Model 605 carbine with the barrel bodygroup, The Model 727, Model 653, and Model 635 carbines come with compact barrel bodygroups, and the Model 635 also comes with the super-compact "DOE" front end. The M231 Firing Port Weapon can be turned into the Patriot from MGS3 with the alternate barrel bodygroup. The M16A1 also has bodygroups for an M16A2 style stock and handguards.

This pack is basically a massive overhaul and update of my original Black Ops M16A1/M16A2 pack, which I released just under two years ago. As anyone who's reading this can probably guess, I quite like older AR15s, and in the time since I released the original pack, I've grown to like them a lot more and realized that quite a significant number of things were wrong with the origninal models. They weren't major things, but they were things like the M727 lacking an M4 profile barrel, the A2 sharing the same stock as the A1, lack of rear sling loops, the magazines being slightly the wrong length, the list goes on. Honestly, A lot of the things I've fixed are things you'd never notice unless you shared the same obsession over attention to detail as I do. One of the things that bothered me the most was that the flash hiders on all of the weapons were poorly modelled, unrealistic, and I couldn't find a set of A1/A2 birdcage flash hiders that matched well. Over the course of the last year, I've been working on tweaking and improving the existing variants, improving or re-making the components that I felt needed fixing, as well as adding extra variants that I found to be interesting or thought would be a good addition to the pack.

The bayonets are the first models I've ever completely finished and textured, and were only possible due to a significant amount of guidance and advice from Lt_Commander. I thought that a set of bayonets would be a good addition to a pack like this, and I feel they've turned out very well. The flash hiders were also modelled and textured by me as i was unhappy with how inconsistent the old ones I was using were. As simple as they may be, I feel they've turned out just as well.

Everything in this pack is based off the M16A1 and 'Commando' from Call Of Duty: Black Ops, with parts from the M16A2 from Left 4 Dead, the buffer tube from the CS:GO M4, and the C-Mag from Battlefield 3. Multiple other components including the M231 stock, M231 handguards/gas block, DOE front end, and all of the flash hiders were modelled and textured by me. And of course, the bayonets and sheathes are also entirely textured and modelled by me.

I've created basically every interesting retro AR15 variant that I knew of, but one or two didn't quite make the cut. I did make parts for a LaFrance M16K, but it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped and as a result I scrapped it shortly before finishing the pack. I was also seriously considering adding an original Canadian C7, but I couldn't find any Thermold magazine models on short notice and the only substitute I had wasn't close enough for my liking, so I abandoned the idea. Another thing originally planned was an XM148 grenade launcher, which I started modelling myself like the bayonets and flash hiders. I had trouble finding the motivation to finish it, and the whole thing was holding up the project, so this release is all thanks to the fact that i abandoned the XM148. The way the bonemergeable M203 works means that I could potentially update the pack with incredible ease to add the XM148 when or if I eventually finish it.

As a slight additional note that probably nobody will find interesting, I found out these old advertisements a while back whilst looking for reference material:

I thought mimicking the style of them would be a neat way to present the guns when they were finally done, so that's why the pictures look like they do. I even directly recreated the second one:

I don't normally put this kind of thing on my releases, but this is a project i put an awful lot of work into, so I've actually got things worth saying about it that may be of interest to some people. I've actually had most of the modelling work done for a good few months now, and the first time I compiled these guns with the new and improved parts was four days ago. So considering how long this has taken me to get back to and actually finish, It really didn't take a lot of work to get it completed all the way.

I hope you people enjoy using this pack as much as I enjoyed making it.

@Kally A late response, but could you elaborate on optics scaling? The 4x20 Colt scope is the only optic contained in this pack (unless I've missed something in the many years I've been using it), and the BOCW pack's version thereof seems to have be similarly/identically sized. Or are you talking about the BOCW pack's optics options in general instead of making a 1:1 comparison?
