Oracle - the one Support that Pudge won't get fed by. :P

Once you get the hang of it, Oracle is a very powerful support. From my experience, he shines in the late game when he has all his items for mana regen and any items that help his mobility and healing. Once you understand his ult and play enough, use of it will be instinctful. . You always want to use it on someone you potentially want to survive in a clash. Combo his ult with mek, urn, and purifying flames and your ally or you will almost always survive when under false promise, that is as long as they don't dish out too much damage.

Plus, use of Fate's Edict can nullify powerful and annoying ults when timed correctly, especially Sniper's Assassinate, Lina's Laguna Blade, and Lion's Finger of Death.

But all of it takes practice, so don't discourage if you lose more than win. It takes time to understand a hero like Oracle but once you do, he is one powerful ally and a very deadly enemy.

I think he can farm incredibly well, once you get decent mana regen you can just use purifying flames on creeps left and right. I'm really trying to learn this hero as i play supports and i like his character design, but his ult confuses me. i understand what it is, and what the red/green circle above the target means (red = damage at end and green = health at end), but i just don't get how to use it properly. Do you throw it on someone then just start mashing E on them and use Mek?
