[About the project]

This project started quite a while ago- 2 years and 5 months by this point. I had the sudden urge to create a Sonic music video that resembled the ones back in the early 2000s, and limited myself to Sonic clips that were released during that time (up to Sonic Generations). I thought it was going to be a little bit difficult to pull off with the limited clips, but to my surprise, I had a lot of inspiration for it. I kid you not when I instantly started working on this, I got so into the zone that I placed down all the clips within only just an hour or so. 
However, my motivation instantly changed as soon as it came to doing the actual effects itself. Partially why this video took so long to complete. At first, I had plans to do this collab with someone else initially, but a lot of stuff happened during that time, so this project couldn't continue on as a result. 
About a year or so later, I was starting to get a bit fed up that this project was going nowhere, so I asked my gf @RockOnRatchet95 if she wanted to help complete it, which she agreed to do so. She was the one to do pretty much all the effects here, with some ideas and inputs from my end. This video still wouldn't have been completed today without her help, so thank you very much, darling!
Originally, we had a deadline to get this done and upload it during September, since September is suicide awareness month. We did fully complete it on the 30th (not earlier, once again due to real life things popping up), and the project itself took a long time to render, so that is why it is being uploaded a bit late. Regardless of the lateness, I hope you all enjoy watching this video!

Shoutout to some of the older Sonic GMVs that used this same song. There were about 1-3 clips in the older videos I took for inspiration on my end. Sadly, it seems like those old videos are long gone from YouTube.
