WARNING! Mod is in an early beta state. This means not all features or talents have been added yet and you may experience bugs, Be warned. And any comments reporting bugs or suggestions for future additions are welcome.

Medievaltrauma is a Complete Overhaul of Barotrauma, In the Form of a StationRP/Survival Gamemode. Complete with various features such as harvesting resources, and crafting that requires the user to operate the workbenches

Make sure you Have All Required Mods enabled or it wont work. Its advised you dont add other mods to the pack, to ensure things run smoothly and dont break. To play Medievaltrauma just start or join a server thats on sandbox with this sub and the mods loaded. Its that simple.

Notable Gamemode Features
- An Existing Submarine map that can be used out of the box "Realm of Kavar". Until workshop maps are made for Medievaltrauma, this will likely be the default map used for most servers.
- A Complete overhaul of the default classes into something new, With Non Class locked talents. And a new Vagabond class for banditry and criminals.
- A replacement of the medical system to utilize potions and medieval healing methods (More to be added)
- A working Magic system, thats going to be constantly expanded upon.
- Extensive Crafting and Harvesting systems that require the player to adventure out and mine.
- A reward chest system that admins or built in map dungeons can use to allow players to get special items.
- Total Husk Conversion into Vampirism, Complete with Immortality, A thirst for Blood, And Great Power, With Holy and Silver counters for non vampires.

Planned, But yet to be added Features
- Working Ballista and Trebuchets for Siege or defense maps, to fill the role turrets fill in regular barotrauma
- A wide selection of blunt, bladed, axe and spear weaponry.
- Magical and Enchanted weapons capable of performing unique strikes.
- An "Endgame" Tier of items using Physicorium that grant Indescribable power to the user of the gear.
- A large cast of various creatures and beasts, Maybe even dragons.
- Summoning, and the Skeleton Army.
- A Randomly Generating dungeon system (Potentially)
- Werewolves, Goblins, and Liches as new Playable Monsters (Potentially)
- Day and Night Cycle (Might add to Kavar, Any map makers can add this to their medievaltrauma maps too)
- Campaign Support (Explore the Abyssal Sea on a Medieval Submarine) [Low Priority]

Confused? Need Help? Heres some Common Advice for the gamemode
- Fabricators not working at all? "No Power?"
You have to press the Brew/Harvest/Gather/Smith button constantly to operate them, This isnt europa. You wont be recieving any automated fabricators (Aside from the greenhouses and things that grow themselves)
- Dont want to pick talents that dont work?
I recommend checking "fabricators" to see if recipes actually exist for the talent. The Magic Talent tree is the most unfinished so far.
- Took a Vampire Potion and now on the ground, just dead?
Thats intentional. After a while, you'll resurrect from death (as long as you dont give in) And rise again, with Undead Life in your blood now. And a desire for others blood.
- How to Kill Vampires?
Thats simple. Silver Weaponry or Holy Items, Also Burning them. I'll leave it to you to figure out how to get those.
- Whats up with Vagabonds? What do they do?
Whatever they want, they're outside the law. That also means they're outside its protection. Kings, feel free to imprison or kill any vagabonds. Or you could extend the olive branch, make peace.
- Something in the mod is unbalanced?
Comment or let me know, Since this mod recently released. There'll be alot of unbalanced things that need to be changed.
- I'm spammed with Errors and cant Move?
Run this mod, It'll fix that issue, until i can, some servers have this error right now.

-Want to make your own maps? Go Ahead, I welcome and encourage it, Use the Template Official map that comes with medievaltrauma for help, I recommend putting Realm in their name, and Mentioning Medievaltrauma on the workshop name so they can be found easier.

I'm having an issue where I go to brew potions and such, and I can't put mana into the cauldron, is there a technique I need or something?

Would totally love to see some gunpowder weapons at some point (like matchlocks or even flintlocks), plus maybe a tad bit expansion to the available melee weapons and shields, though I guess these are probably going to be added in time already.

Very good idea. I might infact just do that, whenever i get around to making the next update. Been very busy recently. Plus the next update requires massive overhauls so its gonna be a bit.

I have no idea if this will be seen or not. But I have an idea for the eventual poison and weapon enchantment systems that will be added. What if they function like putting batteries in a stun baton? They get used up as you swing and can simply be slotted into the weapon instead of needing to be specifically crafted. As said before I'm unsure if anyone will see this but it's just an idea I had while playing in a server with the mod.
