Introduction

i made this guide after completing at 100% the game to share how i leveled up during this journey (Beware this guide contains a lot of spoilers!)
Hope i can help someone :D

First Farming Spot (Early Game)

Head To Tower of Transcendence

Once you get there keep climbing until you reach the second-last / last floor, and there you will encounter some metal slimes

Second Farming Spot (Early Game)

after completing the portoga quest you will unlock the ship so you can go in this location

‎‎here you can start encountering liquid metal slimes and in general metal slimes

Third Farming Spot (Mid Game)

after placing the 6 orbs you will unlock Ramia the Everbird so can you fly to this spot it's a place where a lot of slimes will spawn

once you got there i suggest to use some Musk here metal slimes are bit more common

Fourth Farming Spot (Mid Game)

after you defeated baramos you will gain access to the overworld, then get in your ship and go here

here you will encounter more often liquid metal slimes and in a bigger group up to 8!

Fifth Farming Spot (Mid Game) (Even AFK)

teleport in this city and go outside in the forest

and keep fighting or flee until you get a battle with 5-6-7 muddy hands

Tips for this battle

Change Game difficulty to draky
Don't attack with every party member do 2 normal attacks and 2 defend for preventing to kill everyone in case the muddy hands don't summon
The trick is keep killing few hands per turn until you are tired or had enough and end the battle with a group spell
There is a way to afk this for few hours

You get anywhere from 60k to 100k XP every 20min

AFK METHOD

Turn on steam input

Plug your controller and open the controller layout on steam

Click Edit Layout

Click The Wheel on your action buttom (In my case A since im using a xbox controller)
and this menu will pop up, copy my settings and when you are inside the battle press once your action buttom and it will spam attack without you doing anything

NOTES!

if you are gonna use this method i strongly suggest to remove the weapons in your 2 weakest party members to lower the chance to kill everyone
you cannot use this method forever when you reach level 35-40 after few minutes your party will kill everyone no matter the equipement

i used this method in DQXI for spamming the slot machine and worked flawless even there :P

Sixth Farming Method (End Game)

After you defeated zoma go to the dragon queen castle, at the end a new teleport will appear

once there you will reach the ??? Dungeon and keep going until you reach the third floor and here the king hydras will spawn

keep triggering battles until you get a king hydra or a group of 3 of them

Tips for this battle

Change Game difficulty to draky mode so you can farm even faster (also the hydras block spells every time)
Reclass all your party to monster wrangler because if you saved 50 friendly monster you will unlock Wild Side so you can make 2 actions per turn making this process a lot faster
Saving 100 monsters would be a good idea to speed up even more this process since you will use Monster Pile-On for dealing damage to them
If you had a warrior in your party you can also use Multislice with Wild Side
With your hero use Kazap Or Gigaslash if your spells are disabled

You will get 73.200 XP for fight (group of 3 king hydras)

Extra Farming Spot

i heard some people saying zoma castle was a good farming spot but i didn't try this personally so you can try this maybe its good as people says

I've discovered that battlegroups of 3 Metal Slimes + 3 Healslimes can appear near Olivia's Promontory, but seem to only show up during the night. Unsure if they're worth it though compared to waiting for the Tower of Transcendence cause I haven't made it to that Tower yet.

Also, can't help but to be curious if i'm right on the Metal Slimes being night only here, thus if trying to Dig around this area would be able to access the Metal Slime Lewt Table during night only as well...?
