download steamcmd.exe from https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD#Downloading_SteamCMD , this application will allow us to download the winter war files directly from the steam servers to copy into the Epic Games download directory

Create a new folder on your desktop (it can be any name), and unzip the downloaded file steamcmd.zip, and copy the steamcmd.exe file from the zipped folder into the folder you just created on your desktop

Open steamcmd.exe and follow along with the prompts, waiting for any download or progress status's to finish. When prompted, enter the following two commands and hit enter after each is entered:

login anonymous
app_update 1255430 validate

The download should begin now, when it is finished the console window should say "Success! App '1255430' fully installed." You can exit out of the steamcmd.exe window now

Open the folder that you placed steamcmd.exe into to, navigate the folders until you get to steamapps\common\Rising Storm 2 - Dedicated Server\ROGame

within the file path steamapps\common\Rising Storm 2 - Dedicated Server\ROGame we just navigated to, Rename the folder titled ''BrewedPCServer'' to ''BrewedPC''

Navigate to the same drive and folder you installed Rising Storm 2 Vietnam to and open the ROGame folder, default should look something like C:\Program Files\Epic Games\RS2V\ROGame .

Now that we are in the Epic Games directory ROGame folder, copy and merge the Winter War file folders we previously navigated to in step 4, into the Epic games directory we just navigated to, you should be copying over three folders: BrewedPC, Config, and Localization into your epic games ROGame folder. The target destination at C:\Program Files\Epic Games\RS2V\ROGame should contain these folder names already assuming you have done everything correctly.

The installation should be completed now, find a winter war server and hop into the fight. Sort the server browser by map name, servers running Winter War will have the prefix WW - so they are easy to find.
