1. Introduction and requirements
Did you ever boot up Jet Set Radio™, see your FPS fall down the stairs at full speed and say: "Damn, I wish I could play this game with some dignity (60FPS)."? Well, you don't have to anymore because that's exactly what this guide will you help you do, in case you haven't realized yet, which I find pretty unlikely.

Required Tools
Here's the list of things required to successfully follow this guide:

Lossless Scaling is required for this to work, so if you don't own it and can't buy it, there's nothing you can do... except for sailing over the seven seas and going on a quest to "find" your own copy, perhaps buried under the sand or something... but you didn't hear that from me, I'm not a trip person.
2. Capping your FPS
Let's begin. Firstly, you'll need to cap your game's FPS to 30. I know what you're thinking, probably. The reason why you NEED to cap the game's FPS to half of the desired number is because of the way Lossless Scaling works. Basically, you set a value which is the number of times the game's current FPS is going to be multiplied by, and for it to work properly, the frame rate must be consistent; so, if you have a game running at 30FPS, the program will "try to predict what the next frame's going to look like" and generate it with AI, and it works like a charm. Crazy ♥♥♥♥.

To cap your FPS with the Nvidia Control Panel:
  • Search for it on your taskbar (or just open it by right clicking on your workspace if you use Windows 10).
  • Once you accept the terms and open the control panel, this is what you will see.
  • Click on the option that says "Manage 3D Settings".
  • Then click on "Program Settings".
  • Click "Add" to add specific settings to an application, select Jet Set Radio™.
  • Then change the setting "Max Frame Rate" to 30.

How to cap your FPS using RTSS:
    • I don't know, I never had to. You're on your own, kid lmao.
    • Jokes aside, I really can't help you with this but here's the official guide on how to use it RTSS Official Guide [www.guru3d.com]. Also here's a really good Youtube tutorial on the subject if you don't like to read. Jackass.
3. Getting it done
Now that you have capped your FPS, we only need to setup a few things before we can play Jet Set Radio™ at 60FPS, like I promised.

Setting up Jet Set Radio™ :

First off, you'll need to change the game from Fullscreen Mode to Windowed Mode, since Lossless Scaling's frame generation feature only works on games running in Windowed Mode. Why? Who knows! Don't worry though, because the program will rescale the game to make it look like it's in Fullscreen Mode.

  • Go to Steam and start the game from there, it will ask which one of the applications you want to run (the game or the settings). In case set the game to always run the game automatically, you can just go to the game's properties and set the application you want to run manually.
  • On the settings menu, set the Windowed option to "Yes". Very simple.

How to use Lossless Scaling:

The final step, boys! (And girls too.)

  • Open Lossless Scaling, this is what you will see at first:
  • Most of these options are visuals, graphics, performance related or just miscellaneous. You can tweak them to however your liking, or to whatever your pc can run. Set the first option to "LSFG 2.3" and Mode to "X2". OBS: Quick reminder that the performance options affect negatively your game's graphics, I know it's obvious but I felt like I should remind you anyways.
  • The scale hotkey (the one that activates the software and applies the changes to the game) is Ctrl + Alt + S. You can change it by go to the settings tab, it will be the first option that shows up. Can't miss it.

Playing the game:

Now that everything's set up, just launch the game, hit the hotkey and see the magic happen. It might have this AI-like feel at first, but it goes away once you play it for long enough. Go ahead, see for yourself.

Congratulations, you can now

Btw I achieved the cool effect on the thumbnail by using some random ass web version of photoshop and setting the quality of the image to lowest while exporting it. Interesting, right.
